Just in case anyone needs to pick up one or the other (or both). These prices are in-store, as well...and they're for the standard edition, obviously.
GW Prophecies: $38
GW Factions: $30

above, I still play GWP and GWF (although more F than P lately) quite a few times a week...as do many of us...and it is still quite fun. One does not speak for the whole, fortunately. d

Wow, I find it odd though that Factions is cheaper than Prophecies... You'd think, being the older game, Prophecies would be.
And, me and my friend continue to play both Prophecies and Factions regularly, we've been working on capping elites lately and exploring most of Tyria as well as advancing as many of our chars to Cantha and back to run through missions and the like. I believe that Prophecies will be dead when Runners no longer exist in Beacon's Perch, until then, Prophecies lives as much as any of the rest of us do.

Yeah, looks like GWF is OoS online at CC. GWP is still available. Unfortunately, there's no way to check in-store inventory from the website, so you'll have to call your local CC to see if it's in stock if you want to save yourself a drive.
As this is advertised in the weekly ad (page 10 in mine), you can take this ad to Best Buy for a price match. Might also be able to do the same at CompUSA, but I'm not too familiar with their price match policies.

If you are about to make a purchase and discover a lower advertised price offered by a local retail competitor on the same available brand and model, let us know and we'll match that price on the spot. Already bought? We'll refund you the price difference, plus an additional 10% of that difference up to 30 days after your purchase (14 days on select categories*). Either way, simply bring in proof of price while that lower price is in effect. Exclusions apply. See details below. Policy may also vary between stores. See store for complete details. Exclusions: The Best Buy Price Guarantee does not apply to our or our competitors' free offers, limited-quantity items, open-box items, clearance items, mail-in incentives, financing or bundle offers. The policy does not apply to typographical errors or a competitor's price that results from a price match. What is considered a local retail competitor? A retail store located in the same market area as your local Best Buy store. What is considered "proof" of price? If you have already purchased the item, the best way to show proof of price is to bring in your original Best Buy receipt, plus the competitor's current ad. We reserve the right to call the competitor's store to verify the lower price and availability of the item. |

). However, it will be interesting to see how much Nightfall and future releases effect the population of the earlier games.
