Cantha Solo Tour Part 1

Hi there!

Since i've soloed almost everything of Tyria I decided to start with Cantha.
This part will contain Pongmei Valley and Aborstone (explorable)
I'll only post some of the screenshots now and I'll post the full guide tomorrow. Also I'll update this thread as much as possible with new builds for new places and missions.


Pongmei Valley

Armor:
Full Gladiators with Ascalon helm.
Attribute points:
Strength: 9 (8+1)
Swordmanship 11 (10+1)
Tactics 15 (12+3)

Skills:



Sprint
Sever Artery
Riposte
Deadly Riposte
Gladiator's Defense
Physical Resistance
Dolyak Signet
Healing Signet


Step 1: When you enter Pongmei Valley, you'll see allot of Stone Scale Kirins and Undergrowths. Agro them and use Physical Resistance. Use your Ripostes and Sever Artery to take them out. When Physical Resistance is at 3/4 of its recharge time, cast Gladiator's Defense to finish the job

You should be able to kill all the Stone Scale Kirins and Undergrowths using those tactics. When you go further you'll see a group of 1 Island Guardian and 2 Rot Wallows. Kill the Rot Wallows first and use Healing Signet whenever it's possible. Sever Artery the Guardian and use your Ripostes to kill him.

Take the left way and you'll see allot of Am Fah. They should not be any problem.

You should also see an Assassin Boss. Kill him with your ripostes but watch out for the Am Fah ranger which will come from the roof.

Yeti's. They are harder then the rest so you might skip them if you want. If you want to kill them, use Sever Artery and your Ripostes to take them out.

When you see a huge groupes of Rot Wallows, try to lure them so the group will split up.


Arborstone (explorable)

Armor:
Full Gladiators with Ascalon helm.
Attribute points:
Restoration Magic: 12
Strength: 9 (8+1)
Tactics 14 (12+3)

Skills:



Desperation Blow
Resilient Weapon
Vengeful Was Khanhei
Vengeful Weapon
Riposte
Watch Yourself!
Dolyak Signet
Healing Signet

Step 1: When you enter Aborstone you should see a couple groups of warden. Just agro them and cast Vengeful Was Khanhei. When the Vengeful Was Khanhei is expired, use Vengeful Weapon and Resilient Weapon when you're suffering from a hex and/or condition. Make sure Dolyak Signet is on.

Make your way up to the stairs killing the groups with the tactics I gave you above. Kill the monks with Desperation Blow.

When you're done with the right and the left side, take the middle and clear it of all the mobs.

In the top right and left corner you'll face some Dredges. They are harder so watch out. Kill them with the same tactics I gave you above

On a side note, i love all your other builds(i.e. tyria solo, ToPK solo, solo farming list of builds thread.......)

EDIT: in your pics, i noticed you made the bar where your foe uses a spell really big. is that to make it easier to interupt?

EDIT: in your pics, i noticed you made the bar where your foe uses a spell really big. is that to make it easier to interupt? Thanks man I made the bar longer so it's indeed easier for me to interupt their skills.

An SS curse necro can take Shiro down in a < 40 secs. I've done it before with myself and 2 hench healers (+mhenlo). Be interesting if I can do it with just Mhenlo though.

Any screenshots? I thought Battle Scars steals the damage you do with SS.

Battle Scars has no energy cost and has a recharge time of 11 seconds. Like all stances, it activates instantly.
