Start to play again?

Has anyone stopped playing and restarted playing? I'm one of those people who's been through prophecies and factions... been in competitive pvp/gvg... and then stopped pveing and mainly focused on gvging but then eventually stopped altogether after a ladder season ended.

I have no idea of the new skills and I didn't participate in any of the double exp/fame weekends and stuff or have any idea of nightfall, and don't plan on buying it either. Is there any reason I should start playing again?

I dropped the game then picked it back up again, not once but twice. I find that that's actually one of the nicer things about the game, you don't have to keep 100% up to date to be able to play.

When I quit both times, i just needed a break. I wasn't really having fun anymore, and there were other things that needed to be done. When I picked the game back up, it was all still familiar to me. not that much had changed. It seemed more refreshing again. I picked up a different character and beat Prophecies a few more times and got some different armor in Cantha. I just basically picked up the game like I hadn't stopped playing. But, since I habitually PUG, I don't have to worry about Guild life.

I guess the real trick is to just put down the game for a bit, do something else for a while, then just start playing again. If you've got a free character slot, try something new. It may not work, but the game'll always be there if you need something to do.

I've stopped and started twice as well, so since release ive not been playing GW for about 7 months. Started again a month ago and loving it just as much as I always did!!!

Well, I havent played in about 4 months. I stoped playing with max gold in my account and I was quite happy to see my account was still running with all my old stuff still there. no hacks no problems.
Only problem is I have no idea what I am doing anymore. lol
Do I run around Faction getting all the skills from there.. run around Tyria or continue farming Old School with my old 55 and Tank?

I need some help I think
