Yes, there are some topics here already.
But I am very surprised that ANet keep this issue for such a long time.
Is is not only annoying but also make interrupt hard to do now.
And the most rediculous thing is...
The Skill icons which has already been loaded in system memory, still has about 1 sec delay to show even it is not the first time to pop.
For example, I have an enchantment in my skill bar, when I cast it on myself, 50% of the times it still has a delay to show it, this is really rediculous.
And the worse thing is you got some icons in pvp but you don't know what is it, it's probably allie's enchantments, or hexes from enemies such as diversion...and then gg.
Sorry I really can't stop myself to ask again.
ArenaNet, is the skill icons loading bug so hard to fix?
WTH is the skill icons loading bug so hard to fix?

It sucks in pvp when you get hexed, and you can't see the hex on you. So you can't call it before the cover, and if it's empathy or backfire and you go at it before you see the hex you could have screwed yourself before you see the skill.

Sooner or later there are going to be too many skills to keep track of..
KamikazeChicken
They'll fix it when they're able. It's not that they purposefully add bugs to piss of their player base, so they're not going to keep it around any longer than they need to.

Really sucks for Mesmer interupts, by the time you see if it's a skill you can interupt (Say with a spell interupt skill) it's too late to do so...

People have suggested it's because there are too many skills to load into RAM with the release of NF, but there are no more skills used in a single zone. As far as I can see, it could be possible to list the ones that are in the skill bars of everything in the zone, and load them on entering the zone.

I only say look here

From whats been told for those to lazy to follow the link,
its a bug. somewhre in the line and lines of code. Think of it like a ghost in the servers. And yes it really is that hard to fix!
