this is my ranger ..i got the 15k frostbound vest and the necklace is hardly visable ... ive seen pictures of the armor on sites and the necklace is visable ..wondered if anyone could help me

It looks like a cantha char. Has ANET modified the bodies of female ranger for canthan chars? It could explain why the armor is messed up.

Increase visual quality on options, or go outside because inside town the graphics are worse to prevent others from lagging.

It can't be that for 2 reasons:

1/ your own char is not affected by the lowered quality in town
2/ even if you don't use the highest video quality, your screenshots will.

So yeah I bet canthan bodies are slightly different - apparently ANET bumped the torso of female rangers.

An alternate explanation might be the recent changes that were made to characters to allow moving faces. Heads were remodeled and retextured. I wouldn't think that the head texture would extend down that far, but I suppose it is possible...

I don't think that's what causes the necklace to not show up so well, but I have seen many of examples of this. The best I can think of is if you make a male canthan ranger and equip a Ascalon Style Marksmanship mask, then cycle through the faces. Some faces blatantly bulge out through the mask. Things like that make me wish A-net would take an update to brush up on some various visual glitches that people have been complaining about.

You dont look great because Cantha rangers are ugly, Tyrian rangers ftw .
