First off - this isn't going to make you rich. That said, it's kickassly fun - and the satisfaction of soloing one of the most deliberately solo-proof mobs in the game is kickass.
Here's a video for j00:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6xUdvASivr4
Thanks to Lan Briin of my alliance for filming it.. on my warrior (he didn't have any chars up to Leviathan Pits)
Notes: The first 2 minutes is me running through Gyala Hatchery explorable - but I'd watch it for the music and to make sure you don't get lost (I did).
Halfway through you see me nearly die. I got to 13 health before VWK kicked in - this would have been avoidable. The trick is not to be a moron and try to rush it. Take it slow, or you get a second mob aggroed on your second VWK, like in the video.
----------
The build is a generic VWK solo one, here t'is for you who are forgetful:
16 restoration, 8 inspiration, 10 illusion
Arcane Echo
Vengeful Was Khanei [E]
Vengeful Weapon
Ancestor's Visage
Sympathetic Visage
Mend Body and Soul
Channeling
Physical Resistance
Enemies encountered:
Outcasts
Assassins = interuppts, stance removal, enchantment removal (exhausting assault, ouchies), cripple.
Necros = Well of Blood, enchant removal.
Warrs = Interuppts on slow casts, deep wound.
Rits = Nothing dangerous.
Verdict: Easily soloable. They can remove almost everything on your bar, so screw SV/AV, channeling, and phys resistance. Just make sure you echo before aggroing and VWK before you come into Chillbains range.
Oni's
Shadow Shroud (only stops SV/AV being cast, use SV/AV FIRST THING when you see them pop up)
Knockdowns (requires energy - SV/AV be your friend)
Bleeding (nothing deadly)
100% Dual Strike chance (this is what kills them faster than anything else I've ever seen)
Verdict: Moderate. As stated above, as soon as you see them on your radar, hit SV or AV and Phys Resist. Follow with Arcane Echo, then VWK when they run up to you. Channeling yourself before spamming Vengeful Weapon. Should only take 1.2 VWK's to kill them.
----------
Head out of Leviathan Pits and run past the Outcasts before they kill the Luxons, if you're a slow loader you can just solo them anyway for a bit more loot. Run to the Rhea's Crater portal and go through. The reason you're entering Rhea's from this way is because it's the only route which doesn't have Rockhides between you and the bridge. Rockhides hurt.
Run onto the plateau south of the portal and kill the 3 Oni pop there. Then head toward the large Outcast mob with the monk boss. Try and pull out smaller patrols and eliminate them, until nothing is blocking your path east. Eliminate all remaning Outcast resistance until the bridge, trying not to be too ambitious (like I was in the video).
It's occasionally possible to take all 10 Bridge Oni's at once, which is both insanely amusing and more time efficient. Throw on SV and Phys Resist, aggro them and kill as detailed above. Good luck with the green drops .
After this, you can either finish, or continue to solo more outcasts, or try some Creeping Carps near the portal - They remove enchants and Stances, so just use echoed VWK and venegful spamming. Scuttle Fish heal themselves too fast to make killing them even a likely event. I got one to 15% hp once, but doubtless someone on here can do it. Swap out Mend Body & Soul for a shutdown or something.. or be normal and just run away when you've killed the Carps in the mob, and find another mob .
----------
Any improvements on my generic build, commentary on the run, or just complaints at the length of the video would be most appreciated.
Thanks to Midgey Peet (not a character name, it's what I call her -_-) for trying to help me with this, Lan for going out of his way to film it, and Dahnel, whom I've never met but inspired me to try Rt solo.
Rt/Me Oni Farming

Nice build. You should try and take this build over to harvest temple and farm Shiroken. You would probably just need to boost inspiration to 6 or 7 so that physical resistance lasts longer and you would get more energy from channeling.

OOPS! I wrote channeling instead of inspiration.. edited.
And this build can do a lot more than shiro'ken. I regularly solo UW and FoW with variations of it, and it can do boring things like trolls and minos too. I'm even sure I can solo some or most of Hell's with an adjustment or two.

I??aki
you can solo all of UW with it? what variations?
Gwmaster
yeah oni farm is pretty good, i always get at least gold drop per run + lots of bolts of cloth.
but im wondering something. How can u use Physical Resist.while shiro ken farming since the sins will remove it.
edit: how come this build isnt listed yet in the sticky..i mean this build is realy old...
edit2:hmm nvm i guess you are the first to post it

When the green ungues of oni came out, someone (I think RebelHero) posted the first oni solo with a Rt/Me. I can't find it anymore though - closest I got was this: http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...=on i+rt%2Fme

I'm not the first to post this build.. I heard about it on these forums, I was inspired to do it by Dahnel on these forums. And oops if someone else has already done this.

You use Resilient Weapon and IoH to run past Shadow army units, and on the beach you solo skales, dryders and snarls. I used to be able to do Spiders too with no problems, but one day they randomley started spamming Savage Shot on me, making it very difficult with a massive chance of failure.
Here's a few proof screenies:
Me vs. 6 Skales.
Me vs. 6 Snarls.
Me inside the cave (after soloing the 'entrance mob' of about 17+ spiders)
End of the cave.
I'm keen to promote just how much this build can do - that's why I'm working my way to soloing Hell's.
If you guys want one, and if theres not one already in existance, I'll gladly make a guide on how to clear the beach with Rt/Me.. EDIT: Someone's already done it.
