Hi everyone. I have been playing prophecies for a little more than 2 weeks now, and I have only gotten to Droknar's Forge mission-wise. I was looking at some Elementalist built on gw wiki (got bored at work... lol), and came across the invincimentalist built listed there. It also suggests a modified tanking geomancer built, so I modified the built to suit my geomancer, but I have concern on energy management. I haven't tried this out yet because I don't have some of the skills in this build nor the equipment to pull it off so any suggestion is welcome!! Just don't call me noob b/c i am one
Weapon: Galigord's Stone Staff (good choice bad choice??)
Armor: eh I don't know, max armor?
Earth Magic: 12+3+1
Energy Storage: 9+3
Wilderness Survival: 9
Skills
Serpent's Quickness (lvl 9)
Elemental Attunement
Armor of Earth
Kinetic Armor
Obsidian Flesh
Stone Dagger
Aftershock
Ether of Renewal
The cast order are similar to the Invicimentalist build.
1. Cast Serpent's Quickness
2. Cast Obisian Flesh
3. Cast Elemental Attunement
4. Cast Armor of Earth, then Kinetic Armor
5. Spam SD and AS to keep KA up. Use Ether of Renewal to keep energy and hp up.
6. When OF runs out, there is 4 seconds left in SQ so cast OF again.
7. Keep AE, EA up.
8. By the time the second OF runs out, SQ is close to being recharged. Repeat all the steps.
Now, as I said, I haven't tested this myself because I don't have the equipments or all the skills. According to gw wiki, casting AE, KA, and OF would reduce dmg by 94%, and OF would make it immune to spells (except a few). So I think as long as I can keep them up I should be in good shape right? I'm not sure if Ether of Renewal is best to manage my energy/hp. I would have 5 enchantments on most of the time, so casting EoR 4 times in 8 seconds would give me 18x4-5x4=52 net energy. And please, your suggestions are greatly appreciated!! oh no Faction skills plz, I don't have Factions

Like most builds, Invincimentalist is quite strong in some situations, but quite weak in others. In general, Invincimentalist is good for farming (quickly and repetitively killing certain monsters), not so good in other PvE contexts. So, the first thing to establish is what are your plans for this build?
Since you mentioned Droknar's Forge and are looking into Invincimentalist, I'm going to assume that you are interested in farming Mountain Trolls (please correct me if I'm wrong).
In any case, the first thing to do is eliminate two of the three elite skills you have in your build (Obsidian Flesh, Elemental Attunement, Ether Renewal). Unfortunately, you can only have one of these at any time; those are the rules of the game. This is an easy choice, though, since both Obsidian Flesh and Elemental Attunement are not going to be available to you until you get to Perdition Rock, which is three missions beyond Droknar's Forge. It turns out that Ether Renewal, which you can capture in any of the Crystal Desert missions, is probably the best choice for Troll farming anyway.
There are a couple of more or less standard builds which feature Ether Renewal and Earth Magic spells. Two good threads on these can be found here and here.
As far as your equipment goes, Galigord's Stone Staff is an excellent choice for just about any Geomancer build. You should be able to buy one for less than 5k nowadays. Another popular choice is to use a weapon of Enchanting (e.g., a Totem Axe) along with a shield that reduces damage by two while you are enchanted. Since you are typically only taking 0-5 damage with your armor enchantments up, the -2 makes a big difference.
Finally, I haven't found there to be much difference between the various Elementalist armors for general PvE (at least not until you get into Factions). If you want to be extra safe, you might choose Hydromancer or Pyromancer since the next two areas you will be encountering feature Water and Fire damage. For the most part, however, you should choose whichever looks the best to you. Just make sure the base armor level is 60, which is what is available at Droknar's Forge.

Thanks for your help! haha I feel so dumb now... i didn't know you can only have one elite skill equipped at a time... I actually used the ethernal renewal build a few days ago in the link you posted to farm hydras, and it worked pretty well for me. I got bored at work, so i just looked things up and tried to see if it's possible to farm both melee and caster enemies... but anyway, thanks for your help! it's greatly appreciated.
