this is a two man farming build you use a GB tank and a Smiter/Runner
Mo/R smiter/runner
I Use a zealots headpiece with superior smiting and a defenders head piece with superior protection(only used to put vital blessing on) so i have 16 smiting
attributes (the attributes need to be at least)
Beast:9
Smite:12
Prot:13
Divine:rest
Skills:
Holy wrath (needs to be 40-50 damage) 12 smite
Retribuition
SOJ (capped from myd springclaw in mineral springs)
Blessed signet
Run as one
Symbiosis (needs to be +100 health) 9 beast
Rebirth
Vital Blessing (needs to be at least +179) 13 prot
Mo/N GB Tank
Atts:14 prot 13 divine thats 2 minors with a prot head piece use 15 armor style from ascalon with a 30 armor headpiece costs about 1k to make armor with runes.
Skills:
Protective spirit
Spirit bond
Blessed signet
Grenths balance (capped from facet of Darkness in dragons lair)
Blessed aura
life attunement
essence bond
balthazars spirit
The Monk/Ranger runs you to Majesty's Rest. Once you get to Majesty's Rest, Monk #1 is going to put Vital Blessing on everyone so you can all run past the first group. Ok so once everyone is up last the first group that pops up, and doesn't have aggro, Monk #1 is going to take Vital Blessing off of everyone but Monk #2. Monk #1 is going to cast his enchants on Monk #2, and Monk #2 is going to cast his enchants on himself. Once Monk #1 has enough energy, he casts Shield of Judgement on Monk #2, and Monk #2 runs into all the Wraiths and spams Protective Spirit and Spirit bond, because Divine Favor will be his only source of healing right now.
Once the wraiths are dead, everyone moves up onto the bridge. Monk #2 runs just into aggro range of the Rotting Dragons and Rotscale. All of the Rotting Dragons and undead should die off pretty quickly. Once it is Monk #2 and the Rotting Dragon 1v1, the Monk puts down Symbiosis. This should make Monk #2's health go up somewhere in the 2,000 range.
Now for the fun part. The Monk/Ranger just keeps Symbiosis up all the time, and Monk #1 just sits there. Monk #2 won't be getting healed from Spirit Bond now, but it does make it easier for Monk #2 to get his health lower. , Monk #2 uses Grenth's Balance on Rotscale to do ALOT of damage, and get a full heal.
Repeat the above process until Rotscale is at about 1/5 health. From here on, Monk #2 will have to back up so Rotscale is only attacking with his ranged attack and no spells. You need to be patient for this part, as it does take awhile. From this point on the Monk/Ranger won't put Symbiosis back up. Once Symbiosis dies, Monk #2 will probably die too. Have Monk #1 rebirth Monk #2, and re-enchant Monk #2 fully. Monk #2 will then run in and aggro Rotscale again using spirit bond and not using protective spirit, so he is just using his ranged attack. Now that Monk #2 is getting healed from Rotscale's attacks, all is well, and Rotscale will eventually die.

Erm i found that spirit bond without prot spirit didnt heal me enough after i got down to 1/5 health? So why did you say drop PS?

How is it with drops of the green bow? We've killed him few times this week with a friend of mine using totally different build and that damn lizard didn't drop anything, although wiki says he drops always. Weird.

Well.... that means you still had Smybiosis up... which it should'nt be when he has that low of hp... there-fore sprit bond would'nt heal you...

im not sure wat the prob is...but when we go in and aggro rotscale's group...suddenly 5 smoke phantoms pop up from behind and kills us wif chain lightning...
and do u guys have problems killing damned clerics up there? wif Rof they dun go down as easily as the others...and im just wondering if we can leave em and focus on rotscale once the others are all dead...

I just Kill the 4 Wraths, after doing that, i'm waiting a little bit to get Mana+Health back up, then i run top of the Stairs to Rotscale to get the next group of Wraths, after doing that (hmm why do i do this? should be easier not doing so... the Wraths will come AFTER we killed Rotscale...) I Aggro all of the Rotting Dragons, Necrid Horseman etc...

Nope, I think you misunderstand me. The guide says to drop PS when 1v1 with rotscale and after you have got him down past 1/5 health. I know to drop the spirirt, I do understand how the bonder build works. However I cant understand why it is necessary to drop PS. If you do you take huge amounts of dmg as would be expected and spirit bond cannot heal you. Can you please confirm why it is necessary to drop PS. Thanks.

The guide doesn't cover this. TBF the guide is rather lacking in details. The phantoms pop up when you go past the bridge and up the steps to the area where rotscale and his gang is. To deal with this I get my Mo/R friend to Soj and wrath me, then I tell him to run to a safe spot away from the phantom spawn area. I then go up to the upper level and kill off necrid and skeles, then I go back down to phantoms. After having aggroed them my monk friend comes back and we kill em off with soj mainly, since wrath and retribution offer little dmg due to lvl of creatures. I also wand them to speed up process. You stay alive by spamming prot spells, using blessed every now and again. Once dead you can safely go back to dragons and clerics.
Now sometimes you can be left with a cleric or 2, I found that the best way to deal with them is to wand them. Yes I know they have reversal but they are not high level and they dmg fairly easily. They should dmg when they attack you also.
Also for validation purposes rotscale drops always. Every time I've farmed him he has dropped.

ahh perfect idea...but im not sure if the Soj does 'undead' dmg to phantoms...and the chain lightning added up, does hurt a monk...o well, time to try it...thx thanas

wow finally did it thanks man. I gotta stress though switching from sup protect to superior smite. first time i forgot and only had 13 smite, could not do it. anyways the bow will pay for my cost to make the build
