Nightfall available in the Official Store?

Hi people, just very curious, I've searched everywhere but I still can't seem to find the answer...

Anyways, the question is, will Nightfall be avalible on the day it's released in the online official store?

I would think yes, it will be available. However, I would expect that ANet just sticks the key onto your account, and you will recieve nothing physical.

Like said, they just add access to the campaign to your account, you get no box or anything.

The only problem being the large influx of orders ANet will be getting on NightFall release day might just 'break' the store again. It will certainly be it's biggest test since it first opened.

I wouldn't be suprised if it crumbles.

Why couldn't they offer it in the store ahead of time? Just make it clear that it's not playable until the release day. Last time I checked, it wasn't in there, but if it was, I'd buy it now, just to avoid the rush on release day. I fully intend to use the online store to get nightfall, since it's far more convenient than driving to a store (*shudder*). Maybe I'm weird, but I'm more than happy to give up the pre-order and CE bonuses to avoid having to deal with the public on release day.

I think thats exactly the reason that they dont, people would just buy it from the online store, They dont want to steal the costumers from the physical store.

Its a double edged sword on that.

On one hand, Anet makes ALOT more pure profit off you buying it from their store (No packaging..No shipping,,Just add access to it on your account), but on the same token, If places like EBgames and such don't get the sales of it they need, they'll stop being "official preorder distributors" and all of that.

Yup thats exactly what i was saying , makes no sense sometimes but then again it does make sense :S very confusing

i hope for everyones' sake (who will be using the store) that they start offering it for sale a day or two early- just so, as stated above, the store doesnt crap itself again (like the first few days of character slots)

im easily one of the first thousand or so people to preorder the CE, so Im hoping Im in the front of the line for my delivery. Preordered the same day (within 3 hours) it became available.

Sure.. Sell it ahead of time. Wont make any difference than sticking in the pre order key or the mini pet key. Still cant access anything until the game starts so why not start selling keys.

And how about selling global keys at a higher premium so people who liked the nightfall pre release weekend can buy a key that allows them to have Tyria, Cantha and Nightfall under one purchase.

I just pre-ordered CE today, WEEeee ... if I wasn't getting CE though I'd hope to buy it online by mode of the new store, so I could try it out. I guess I'll just have to buy another slot instead.
