How to get to Ascalon? (lol)
Nereyda Shoaal
Sorry for lame question but I'm new (to Prophecies)
I took my char from Factions and "landed" at Lion's Arch. Yesterday I completed Hell's Precipice, and someone told me it's the last (primary?) mission from the game
Do I get quest (or quests) to get to Ascalon, or I need to run there?

There's runners in LA that can take you there, or you can run/fight your way there yourself. (it's quite a ways, though)

You don't neccesarily need a run since the enemies on the way there will be weaker, but yes, you do need to go backward. Either backtrack from lions arch or get a run north from droks.
The Pointless
It is a pain to get past the dwarves though. They abuse Pin Down.

Deadly Panda
Just look for a runner, but don't pay to much cuse the run ain't that hard, if you are a warrior i'd even suggest to download a map and to run it yourself.

If you don't want to pay for a runner, I'd get a copy of a world map and fight your way. Being a Faction toon, you can't get quests prior to LA, but you will be able to do the missions. You just won't get any XP for them. Being a level 20, you shouldn't have much trouble getting there. But it will be time consuming. The beautiful thing about Prophecies is there are no "locked gates" so you'll be able to get into any place you want to.

Runner in LA usually charge about 5k to run to ascalon.

Best thing to do: Fight to Beacon's Perch, stopping at Gates of Kryta as a check point. Then the runners from Beacon's, if there are any, should set you back only 1K.

I I were you, I would just fight there myself or run myself (its not that hard with any class because the enemies are low leveled), but if you don't know the way, running might take a while, and fighting there probably will take a while even if you know the way.

change your secondary to ranger, run yourself in an hour and a half leisurely... you'll get more stops mapped anyways
