Pre-order items and heroes

Just wondering if customized equipment; such as the pre order sunspear and soulbreaker can be used by heroes since they belong directly to you.

Please don't answer unless you know for SURE and have tried it. Don't just guess with logic.

Yes, I know for sure that it works. I gave my Monk heroes the rit weapon from the factions preorder, and the Dervish hero the Soulbreaker.

I gave Melonni the Soulbreaker too, just had to give her one first, then use the command again to give my own Dervish one too.

Yeah; I outfitted my heroes with all the GOTY gear. lol

Unfortunately testing something during the WPE doesn't mean that it will work when the game is released. During the Factions WPE you could get to Cavalon or HzH with one simple quest - try doing that after release

They said that you can equip customized Gear on Heros.

One thing has absolutely nothing to do with the other.

Going to hzh is the storyline, if they made you go through all of it then it's not a preview is it? Being able to give your heroes customized equipment is a game mechanic.

He is right on that one I read that customized weapons can be used by the heros if they belong to you (customized to one of your chars) I tried to hunt down the article that said it but cant seem to remember where it was at.

Well my team was set up like-

koss - war pick (gw1 preorder item)
Donks- spiritbinder (factions) also did Firey Sunspera + Censor's Icon (cross-chapter)
melonni- Soulbreaker

What will be interesting is whether or not 'other' characters can use customized weapons with heros.... what i mean is:
My warrior has like 8 different customized weapons- could I put one of his weapons on my dervish's hero?
Im thinking it may not work, but if it does than the Heros are truly flawless in their function (not including AI which ppl will complain about til the end of time)

^Yes, the heroes can use all weapons customized for you. Not just bonus items.
