Hello, this is my first time or second posting in technicians corner I think. :]
To the point.
I was wondering what is needed to run GW on a laptop with around 60fps and in high quality.
First the processor I hear everyone talking about the intel duo? Is this really the best?
Second would be ram? How much is good I hear around a gig.
Third what graphics card for a laptop would run GW in the best quality and speed?
Links appreciated, as well as price estimates will be especially loved.

Not sure what the minimum requirements are to run at 60fps with maxed out settings, but I know that the Dell XPS M1710 with a GF7900-GTX 512MB video card can certainly do it.

I have one, and it rarely falls below 60fps except in towns with vsync on.

My laptop specs are:
Radeon X600
Intel Centrino 1.9ghz
512mb ram
I can run Guild Wars perfectly on it at maxed out setting. I dont think you need anything too special just a config that is around med-high end.

no dualprocessor will realy boost ur GW performance that much, since GW only runs on one cpu (kinda lame imo since even Quake3 runs on 2 or more) anyway GW doesnt realy take to much cpu, around 20% or so for me (P4 3.0Ghz HT,window mode 1600x1200) , its mostly ur gfx that will limit ur fps

Dual core will improve your multitasking alot while playing GW. No real reason not to go with dual core since the fastest single cores now are overpriced.
