Wild Strike, huh?
Valkyrian
Wild Strike- Must follow a lead attack. If it hits, this attack strikes for +10...30 damage and target foe loses 1 Stance.
Wild Blow- Lose all Adrenaline. If it hits, this attack will be a critical hit. If Wild Blow hits, any Stance being used by your target ends. This attack cannot be "Blocked" or "Evaded"
Wild Blow is of course a MAJOR factor for A/W builds to allow for the sin to remove an enemy warriors stance, which works well for PvE and is EXTREMELY important for PvP.
My question(s) is this: 1) It is not stated that wild strike cannot be "Blocked" or "Evaded", but does it work the same way as WB? 2)If not, than what is the point of the target loosing one stance if your lead attack was blocked or this attack was evaded/blocked anyways?
I use this skill mainly for the +30 offhand dmg in PvE combos, but it seems mighty useless in PvP if your lead attack was blocked or this attack can ALSO be blocked as well... let me know your comments and my personal opinion is that this skill should be changed to a lead attack with less dmg.

Wild Strike can be blocked or evaded. The point is to remove any stance once it hits. In truth the removal of a stance is secondary to the damage and fast recharge time.
Consider using Expose Defenses or Way Of The Fox. Use one of these and use Lead attack then Wild Strike. You stop their defense so your future attacks hit.
Don't forget, Mesmer's Physical Resistance is a Stance, remove it and you can do more damage.
Hope this helps.

The stance removal is insignificant.
Wild strike is the fastest recharging offhand, thats what you want to look at d:
Unsuspecting -> Wild -> Critical

As stated above the stance removal is a small bonus to the fast reacharge and the damage the skill puts out.
The differances are this: They swaped out a critical strike and losing all adrenaline for a fast recharge and extra damage.

This is also effective of removing Practiced Stance rangers, any characters useing skills like sprint, or rush to kite/stop kiting, etc.
But hey, even if you get lucky to hit through the 75% to evade or dodge from a ranger stance, its byebye protection for your target!

i mainly use this skill in my builds because like evryones said the fast recharge time and the way my attributes are set up it does pretty good damage..i would also like to ask a question it says it removes a stance..does that meen that the target foe cant use it the rest of the fight, unlike wild blow says it ends a stance??

The Runaway Shinobi nope. same as wild blow.

What is the point of "loses 1 stance" in skill desription anyway? Because as everyone knows there is only one stance at a time allowed, another stance cancels the previous one.
CalypsoX
Poor wording. The "1" isn't variable either. In any case, it's not like the description is wrong per se.

Monks using hex breaker, physical (or elemental) resistance.
Mesmers and their whole line of Mantras
Practiced Stance rangers
Running skills such as sprint, rush, dodge, storm chaser, etc.
Stances are used very often, and are sometimes the core of a working build, so there is use to the "remove stance" bonus.

It's just bad wording on ANet's part - same as the Plauge ____ (Touch/Signet/Sending/etc.) has "transfer one negative condition", when there are no good conditions.
Lambent, he probably understands that the point of how critical losing a stance can be, the question was targeted at his wording.

The wording is fine, but the understanding of it is lost. 1 stance, means just that, one stance. Yes, we all know that only 1 stance can be used at one time, but the wording is still correct.
I don't know what you mean by "good conditions", but transfering 1 condition, if you have 1 or more still means 1 condition is transfered. Thus, if you have 6 conditions, only 1 is transfered back (no you don't get to determine which one is transfered).
If you say that "what if you have no conditions", then no conditions are transfered, but you still wasted some energy. Just like if you use Blood of the Master when there are no minions in the area, you still lose energy and sacrifice some life.

OMG what he is saying is that there are no good conditions, but to a new player it would make you think that there are good ones. So really there is no use for the negative part

6 Seconds recharge, its meant to be spammable.
Jagged Strike+Wild Strike+Some finisher

how can you spam it when it has to folow a lead

Jagged Strike has a recharge time of 4 seconds. Spammable too.

Lambentviper has the best point here yet. The assumption previous to that seems to be that a stance will either block or evade, or both. There are actually plenty of other stances as an Warrior with Frenzy will tell you.
There are even Elite stances, and God, I sure love making someone waste those. Check out the Rit skill Guided weapon. you can virtually ensure that Wild Strike will hit, then you will virtually ensure that all other attacks hit.
As to the remove 1 stance, like the negative conditions, I imagine that the devs are just planning for the future. Can you imagine that some day there will be positive conditions? Or perhaps a job that can maintain several stances? Well, we would immediately know that Plague Touch won't transfer the positive conditions, and the Phalanx will still maintain his Shield Stance when his Frenzy cover-stance is gone.
[/speculation]
