I have been wanting to buy some dragon scythes for some while...the only problem is no one rarely sales them and no one knows where to get them. What is so interesting about them is that no other unique dagger has a skin that looks like them (as far as we know). If any of you know where I can get them or what seems to drop them, please post.

You are correct on the unique skin (until Anet reads this...<cough-cough>)
Dragon Scythes seem to go through periods of availability for some reason (don't know where they most likely drop either, sorry
).
Sometimes 1/3 of the spam is for scythes- lately though, I really haven't seen them spammed often
.
Another major benefit (imho), is that they do slashing damage instead of piercing. Conversely, a large percentage of the armor used in-game (mobs) and a lot of the ppl selecting a + vs damage type, tend to get "Armor +xx vs. Piercing".

The only pair I've ever seen drop was from a Warden in Mourning Veil Falls.

They drop from Kurzick Chests I know (and probably the monsters around the chets, like Wardens).

I got, in my mind a Perfect set of dragon Scythes from a dredge. They are 15% -5 Energy 1/1 Zealous and +30 Health. I dont think they are an extremely rare skin, cause ive gotten quite a few from chest runs while FF Farming outside Lutgardis Conservatory.

Like many rare skins, Dragon Scythes don't actually fall in a specific place.
I got both my pair farming random places around when factions first came out, and i was quite excited when i got them, since i wanted a pair since day one of Factions. Was even MORE happy when i ID'd em, both 15^50, was so happy.
So your better off buying em, and watch for the good deals. Since most likely req won't matter, as you should be running high points in dagger, look for people selling req 10+ 15^50 dragon scythes and you can get some GREAT deals.
In fact yesterday, my friend got a req11, 15^50 Dragon Scythe pair for only 9k!!!!!!!!! yup, sometimes the deals get quite good!

i dont think there's a specific spot they drop, ive gotten 3 but they were all spread across the kurzick territory, but all were located in kurz side so who knows.

I sold them a while back (btw i was grounded yesterday thats why i wasnt on..)to buy new armor and dye it black but she said i could buy another pair (she has another thats the exact same) her name is java break....dont tell her i told you, she will get pissed. A new dagger skin was discovered a few weeks ago called sialent daggers, they have a pretty neat skin.. they were foun in napui quarter mission so i would go farming there...i would be glad to come, im not sure if they do slashing or peircing but they look like slashing. Well anyway i would go on wiki and check it out.

i have 2 sets of req 9 dragon scyths i can sell you my req 9 15^50 20/20 hp+30 for an offer...and i only saw that necro armor and other sins carry vs piercing armor so it really doesn't matter

I actually have a pair of dragon scythes 20/20, 14^50, +30 hp, requirement is either 8 or 9. If you're still looking, let me know. Not perfect, but pretty darn close.
