The Item Watch feature is now fixed... in doing so there was an error where 4 emails were sent to all registered auction users. I apologize for this, it was not intentional. Please disregard them.

Item Watch is Fixed and an Apology

Hmm... I got that email and I just got another one from an item that I wasn't watching.

Yeah, I just received two emails in the space of 20 minutes, both for items I never set a watch on (and the only item I ever watched was, I dunno, days and days ago at this point, long since donce). Is this just a after-fix burp? Sure it's fixed?
edit: Two hours later.. and another two "watch closed" messages.

Yeah, I just got one and I was worried because I wasnt really paying attention, and thought I bought something I didnt want.

I probably should have clarified and indicated which one was sent out multiple times. It was for - Hammer Grip Hp +29.
And um... it's still sending them out. Crap. Excuse me while I go and smash my keyboard.

I got quite a few emails. I opened one and it was for superior vigor. Those people must of been quite lucky because they probably got high bids Through all the coverage. I dont understand why ultimate warrior was worried because you could always deny that you bid on the item or something and refuse to pay.

All the item watches sent out were for closed auctions. Also, I think it would be really hard to "deny" your bid on any item considering it records the bidding history with your name. The only way to bid on an item is if you input the amount and truly bid on it so in that regard, no you don't have to worry about winning an item you didn't bid on.

Thank you for working on this. It isn't a huge deal, but more of an annoyance. Really appreciate the time you are putting into this auction system, and how quickly your responses to various problems are.
Nice work. Hope you figure out whats wrong and stop it from being silly.
