I used this build many times. It has been very effective in healing and also in survival. Very nice against melee. Not so much spikers or degen. Its mostly so u can run in and do dmg with healing while evading somewhat. Works well in ab and other grp related battles. Its not a bad 1v1 build either.

No res outside ab = no no. Repeating strike is...Meh.

I don't carry res. Not now not ever. I get the job done by whatever means necessary. Simple as that...
SluggyTheZealot
not a team player eh
Shuuda
not everyone is, like me for 1.

I'm an effective player by myself. I prefer soloing mostly everything with my sin though. It's not hard either. It's pretty much all I play and I know how to use them. Playing with teammates is "mostly" a bad thing because to many people play characters without the proper knowledge on how to use them efficiently. I like my sin because I can get the job done with the "supposedly" weakest profession. That and Assassins are just fun to play with for me, and rangers also. In my opinion the assassin is the hardest profession to play because of all its downsides such as armor. I've played all the other professions and to me the assassin was the hardest to play with. It requires more thinking and i prefer to win with an assassin than a elementalist just nuking or a warrior just using ripose or something of the sort. That's just my opinion...

I get the job done, even better, because I work together.

I dont know if you recall but last time I checked TA/RA was 4 people vs 4 people. Not a team of 3 and one Assassin. Also teammates are essential, as you cannot solo 4 people on your own.
You are relying on enchants for your heal, which can be easily drained / shattered, leaving you in a worse condition before you casted it in the first place. Self heals are good, but if you meet up with a mesmer 1 v 1, this build is not going to hold.
"proper knowledge", as you so put it, is having the knowledge to play as a team, because any team of 4, is stronger than your one assassin.

As other people have said many times before, GW is a team based game not a 'I can kill everyone myself' game. Heck, my Rit can take down this build 1 vs 1 but thats not the point , the point is that in a team based game you play as part of a team. Anyway, aside from Repeating Strike (I'd change it to Rez...) its an ok build, personaly I'd have a snare/run skill in there but thats just my opinion.
Neverending Silence
First of all I never said I could "kill everyone myself." Most people i can solo np but there are plenty of players that have a good build that can kill mine easily. Secondly I already stated that this build wasn't good against degen/spikers/things such as that. It's a melee thing. I don't like teams but this build is meant to play with other ppl. AB i don't mind too much about teams since they are required, I'm mostly referring to missions/quests. Lastly, numbers don't win battles. Any good player can defeat a group of people if executed properly and setup correctly.
Evilsod
Have you actually seen an AB gank recently? 4 of the most highly skilled PvPers in GW couldn't stop that. Numbers win it... get over it.

Please! I beg of you, never EVER play PvP!
Neverending Silence
Numbers have never won wars/battles, brilliant tactics and strategy is how you win.

Kill MM and army is no longer a threat, an entire army put to its knees because the necro dies. They just become objects on the playing field that are of no threat. Yes I do AB alot. MM's don't bother me as much as the blood or curse necros.

Are you some kind of an RP newb?
The MM doesn't die because A. he has a monk B. he has taste of death C. he's using dark pact.
I HIGHLY doubt you'd even be able to scratch that MM.

Many MMs sadly don't do any of those things. 3/4 of the time its usually quicker to kill off all the minions before bothering with the MM themselves (with the exception of interrupts).

What MMs can use to survive:
a) A Monk.
b) Taste of Death.
c) Dark Bond.
d) Soul Feast.
e) Heal Area. - who cares if the MM heals you, as long as he/she stays alive
There's a reason why cap groups run away from mobs...

With the current build im using, an MM would be lucky to do even 1 spell/skill before he/she is dead and i move on to the next target.
Sanpa
aha what a jester this guy

Saphrium
I use plague touch, aura of lich and taste of death on my mm build...since you don't have any KD or interrupts, it won't work for me.

Dark Bond + Infuse Condition (just for the heck of it) + Taste of Death + Soul Feast
Some MM use Aura of the Lich, good luck getting owned by Fiends.
I think it would be you who would be lucky to get off 1-2 spells.
No movement boost or Shadow Step on Assassin is bad for AB.
No Rez is crap for everything outside of AB.
Repeated Strike is horrible for AB unless you have Cripple (preferred) or KD, you won't even catch up to them.
