i was trying some stuff out the other day on my N/Mo and this build worked quite well.
attributes :
Death Magic 16
Soul Reaping 10
Healing Prayers 9

Skills:
-Rotting Flesh
-Rising Bile / random hex
-Discord {E}
-Taste of Pain
-Soul Feast
-Karei's Healing Circle / Heal Area
-Healing Breeze
-Well of Suffering

Let me know what you guys think of this build, and if it's original or common

I'm hoping this is for PvE and not PvP. The reason is some monks will have CoP, others may have Blessed Light. Blessed Light will remove 1 hex, 1 condition and heal for a lot of health.

You have no cover hex, and only 1 condition. This means if one is removed, Discord will not work.

I would almost say trade Healing Breeze and Well of Suffering for Parasitic Bond and Enfeeble. But I'm not sure how wise that would be (at least get rid of Healing Breeze and get parasitic bond, its a great cover hex).

No rez? I would suggest Rebirth.

I'll say this before you get berated for it, Healing Breeze is not a very useful spell for you.

Blight is the reason Discord sucks so much atm, everyone runs one, but, in unorganized pvp, its nice to play with.

I made a build also, using Death and Curses. Ill see if I can find it.

Soul Reaping: 7 (6+1)
Curses: 12 (11+1)
Death Magic: 16 (12+4)

Enfeeble (Curses)
Target suffers from Weakness for 17 seconds.
Energy:5 Cast:1 Recharge:5

Parasitic Bond (Curses)
For 20 seconds, target foe suffers Health degeneration of 1. The caster is healed for 102 when Parasitic Bond ends.
Energy:5 Cast:1 Recharge:2

Discord [Elite] (Death Magic)
If target foe is suffering from a Condition and under the effects of a Hex or an Enchantment, that foe suffers 79 damage.
Energy:5 Cast:1 Recharge:2

Rotting Flesh (Death Magic)
Target fleshy creature becomes Diseased for 26 seconds and slowly loses Health.
Energy:15 Cast:3 Recharge:3

Faintheartedness (Curses)
For the next 29 seconds, target foe attacks 50% slower, and that foe suffers Health degeneration of 3.
Energy:10 Cast:1 Recharge:8

Taste of Pain (Death Magic)
If target foe is below 50% Health, you gain 158 Health.
Energy:5 Cast:0.75 Recharge:10

Consume Corpse (Death Magic)
Exploit a random target. You teleport to that corpse's location and gain 105 Health and 21 Energy.
Energy:10 Cast:1 Recharge:0

Well of the Profane (Death Magic)
Exploit nearest corpse to create a Well of the Profane at its location. For 21 seconds, foes in that area are stripped of all Enchantments and cannot be the target of further Enchantments. (50% failure chance with Death Magic 4 or less.)
Energy:25 Cast:3 Recharge:10

There you go, cap of 8 degen, warrior hate, two cheap skills you can use when you are low on energy and cant use FT and RF, and you can spam Discord till you go blue in the face. Fun to play with in ab due to the mass corpses that tend to gather.

Discord is a nice elite despite what a lot of people might say. The only thing is that it's triggers are pretty demanding. And w/o the triggers it does nothing. Enfeeble and PB are my usual ways of triggering this- both fairly spammable. I don't like using it on top of DM skills, they seem too limiting.

yeah it's for pve... but for pvp it will only work well if there's no monk on opposite party (random arena's?) thnx for the suggestions... but PB.. just without attr in curses for cover hex? or lose some healing prayers and spend those on curses?

Its fun to play with in pve. You can even take it with RF and PB and some minions for random exploring. Works well with vile miasma too.
Useless in any organised pvp though...

very cool, i used Discord with PB and EF in random and team arenas the other night and it owns!
