I am just looking for what people beleive are the strongest Healing, resoration, or protection builds.

I'd like to note that I am not concidering mine as top tier. Just what i use n the topic title is just to see wut people have as wut they have seen or used as the best healing rits.

I myself have been working as a Rt/Mo and using

Life Bond
Balthazars Spirit
Flesh of My Flesh
Mend Body n Soul
Life
Consume Soul
Vengeful Weapon
Resiliant Weapon.

Basically a bonder. At first I thought vengeful could restore my life while getting hit by bond but i havent had time to properly watch n test. Healig wise the build works wonders. Thoughts are appreciated.
When enchants will get stripped i use

Consume Soul
Mend Body n Soul
Spirit Light
Vengeful Weapon
Resiliant Weapon
Flesh of My Flesh

I usually go with a straight up restoration build, mixed in with inspiration magic.

Mend Body and Soul
Soothing Memories
Vengeful Weapon
Resilient Weapons
Wielder's Boon
Revealed Hex
Energy Drain [E]
Flesh of my Flesh


Works pretty well, even has some hex removal and energy management. I don't find myself burning through energy too often, since I don't spam my skills.

This week I played Restoration Ritualist and tryed this in RA.

Ritualist/Assassin

16 Restoration Magic
13 Spawning Power

1. Preservation
2. Soothing Memories
3. Mend Body and Soul
4. Spirit Light
5. Weapon of Warding
6. Recuperation
7. Resurrection Signet
8. Spirit Walk

I just stand next to Preservation and heal the others, and when i'm attacked I just put Weapon of Warding on me and concentrate on the others again.. :P
Oh, and Spirit Walk in case I needed to move away from Preservation to heal someone who ran off..

Worked pretty good against non-heavy-damage groups, had some problems against interrupt rangers/mesmers and assassins... :/ Stil, i got 3 gladiator points yesterday with it

5.) Generous was Tsungrai(Recup.)/ Resiliant Weapon (Life)
6.) Recuperation (two party/large party missions) /Life (otherwise)
7.) Spirit Channeling/Energy Drain
8.) Flesh of My Flesh (best when used with Generous was T.)

i find that mantra of recall/ E-drain works very well.

why does everyone like weapon of warding.. bleh. maybe I'm just too scared of being interupted.

why does everyone like weapon of warding.. bleh. maybe I'm just too scared of being interupted. I don't like weapon of warding either, it just doesn't make it in time in alot of cases. If rez are not seen as good on a monk due to cast time, what would make weapon of warding good on a heal rit?

I generally use weapon of resilent instead for the 1 sec cast time.

1 pip is .33 energy per sec, 4 is 1.33.

The only time I would like weapon of warding is on a NR team with a fast casting mesmer/ritualist.

16 Resto, 13 spawning. Tried your build SnipiousMax and it works wonders. I used the Life variation and subbed in Attuned was Songkai and Ghostly Haste for Resiliant Weapon and Spirit Channeling for good effect.

Weapon spells are also nice in that they can't be stripped, making weapon of warding useful against classes with many enchantment stripping abilities.

If you are taking Attuned Was Songkai as your Elite, I strongly recommend maxing out Spawning Power, even in a pure healer build. The reason for this should be apparent...if it isn't, it's cause 5 energy spells cost 2 energy to activate with 16 SP Attuned Was....

Having said that, my build is:

Spawning Power: 16 (12+3+1) Restoration Magic: 15 (12+3)

1) Mend Body and Soul
2) Soothing Memories
3) Spirit Light
4) Recuperation
5) Life
6) Feast of Souls
7) Attuned Was Songkai (e)
8) Flesh of My Flesh

EQ: Halcyon armor for energy; straw effigy and wayward wand; superior runes (Spawning Power, Restoration Magic, and Vigor)

Health: 410 Energy: 54


Strengths: good healer, can replace monk in most situations; excellent energy management

Weakness: no hex removal; poor defense

Because I don't trust any other healers when I play in pve, I haven't tried running any builds with dual superior runes on. I've found that 16 in restoration and 13 in spawning works just fine. Energy really isn't an issue, provided both healers do their job properly and don't spam their spells.

I usually use Attuned when I know I'm going to be in a mission where I have to cast spells pretty much on top of each other. But if I'm pretty sure my PuG monk counterpart is a spam healer, than I take Channeling so I can get something out of it when I'm not casting.
