I plan to buy 15k luxon armor. Now my problem is what do I buy. I use a lot of curse/blood magic builds. But so far all i've been buying is energy increasing armor.

If it aint broke why fix it? the energy boost is great if you are spamming curses or blood magiks.

I dislike all Necro armors. Least the MM one I know what it's worth for. The rest is so-so. I generally dislike nrg armors because of the low AL. Bonelace is pointless. Necrotic is nice but has too big of a drawback (full Necrotic hurts vs smites). + Health armor is maybe the way to go but not too thilled about it either. Just get a pair of Bloodstained Boots, I can tell you that much. I currently use a mix and match. I guess it can't hurt to try a combination of unimpressive things in the hopes of achieving some desired effectiveness. *shrug*

all depends on what you wanna do. Loads of curses, get some with more energy, sac. skills get more health.
At first I started my Cantha N as a MM, so I got the MM armor (seemd logical) with bloodstained boots. Now that I want him to be more vercatile (sp??) I also was looking for some diff. armor. It looks to me that, once you have your max armor, your runes, a good weapon and build, the type doesn't realy matter that much (I know, but no one armor is "that" diff).

For now I'm saving my hard earned cach and await the NF armors. Who knows, they might have a good "all round" armor.

You can't beat +energy for all around armour. Good for curses, blood or death.
I wouldn't use +health if you're going to do any saccing. And the extra armour is useless in pve. In pvp, the bonelace is helpful against rangers, though it doesn't stop any of their interrupts or elemental damage. Bonus energy is still the best though I think.

i crafted almost all sets, never used +hp set tho, cos i'm often saccing health, also i've noticed that i hardly ever wear necrotic - there r too many stupid smiting monks in factions, smiting damage is low but not when i'm wearing necrotic set...
right now i'm wearing +energy set 95% of time, MM set is nice but if ur team's taking a heavy beating and u're down to 1 last golem u're not getting that armor bonus... and if u have lots of minions u dont need that extra armor that much, however u can always use extra energy right

Since day one of Factions I use Necrotic as a chest piece for the armor, legs and arms for +Energy and Bloodstained boots.
Was the best combo I could think of.

I bought like 3 or so sets of 15k Luxon to switch into and out of >.>
But that's just me, I say get energy armor and an extra set of Bloodstained Boots for MMage. Energy is used for SS and probably everything else if need be.

+nrg armor is only good in PvE. It's simply not worthwhile in PvP where higher armor does make a difference. Good news is Necros aren't much of a priority target.

+ Health is nice. I've never liked the +energy armors on any class except warrior, one more spell (maybe) just isn't worth it in my mind.

Listen, if you are a MM, you should be running MM Armor or Necrotic/Tormentors. Period. You need the extra armor for defense....noone wants the MM dying. Dead MM's are much worse than dead SS necro's.
