If you create a character get him some armour say 'it's customized to 'player 1'
then u move the armour to storage, delete character and create another character called 'player 1', will be able to ware the customized armour still? Baring in mind ur profession and high is still the same

You can't customise weapons to "player1" and transfer them over storage to a different "player1" either. If we could I'd make a PVP character and give him uber weapons, and then create a PVE player with the same name and use the PVP weapons

To explain why not, apparently every character created is given a unique ID code. This is NOT the player name, but probably a semi-random string of characters. All customised items are tied to this unique ID.

Indeed; that's probably how they keep track of a character's age as well, so it serves a double purpose (more efficient data storage and all).
