Ok, since many people are telling me that weapon inherent mod will be salvagable, can anyone confirm the same about shields? Will shield mods be able to be salvaged? I just need a quick answer.

speaking of shields, I wonder if the other offhand items will be salvagable also?

The PC Gamer magazine (the only source of info on this matter) Specifically says the inherent mods on WEAPONS, with no mention of shields or offhands.

It's for shields, offhands and caster non-damage mods it makes the most sense, so let's cross our fingers. Getting 15>50 items is a breeze compared to getting good shields and caster items.

Yes it does say "weapons" Former Ruling, but staves and wands are weapons. Offhands have similar mods to staves, so shouldn't they also be salvagable? And if offhands are salvagable...
