Heres one thing though-
say you bring mending on your Monk Hero... They will cast it on every party member as soon as you step into the instance.
A monk hero will not be able to run some of the more popular builds (i highly doubt a boon prot or bonder monk will work even if you try telling it what to do) But im sure there will be some very powerful hero builds that likewise will not work for a Human Player.

You may want to set your monks up for simple easy to run builds.
4
(1)You open their window, so you can see their skillbar and activate their spells with your mouse.
(2) you select yourself (or any team member)
(3) you click on a spell on any Heroes skillbar and he will cast it on you (no offensive spells obviously)
as far as skilling Healer Heroes is considered
only equip them with spells costing 5e. (they like to spam spells) [Light of deliverance, Glimmer of light, woh]
do not give them +5 energy swords (they will go into meelee)
no complicated energy management shemes please (MoR and others which can be quickly and manually dealt with are fine) [Healers Covenant sounds good]
signet of devotion is a good idea.
Boon Prot: Forget it.
Hex Remove: only with inspiration
Ether Signet: works fine (check his nrg, click it, done)
