Opinions Wanted - Character Select Screen

Im curious, do people perfer just the primary profession colour glow or the name and title of the character being shown like on the assassin in the top right corner..?


But really any comments appreciated.

i dont know about the brady bunch boxes...

but I do miss the old 'standing around the fire' and when you select a character it runs forward and breathes all heavy-like.

Showing the weapons equipped on the C.Select screen would be cool... but Im a sucker for 3D.

They can do whatever, but as long as they dont go back to the pedistal in the middle of the ocean thing (factions) I really hated that.

And about the "Brady Bunch" bit (Which I laughed at.) I couldnt find a way to fit all 18 of my characters in without having a load of different pictures involved as backgrounds.

My middle screen is the one I play games on, this is currently my background of that screen.

Looks more like a waste of time for the developers to do.

No offense. But I find it good enough as it is. (Then again, I find Anarchy Online's drop-down box with name-only as acceptable too so...)

I would really prefer something that would show all of my characters without running in 1600x1200.. then again... I do love running at 1600x1200.

Im having trouble keeping up with which characters I have on what accounts, just fiddled a lil today in Photoshop and came up with this, 9 done, 9 more alts to add to it.

Just a lil thing I made because I was a lil bored today.

Also clicking on them launches GW and logs in the right account and character btw, its not just a fancy background for my middle screen, lol.
