Alright alright. First I wasnt sure where to put this so please dont flame me for that. Second, I know that you really cant compare the two. So, please no flames

I have GW:P and GW:F, I also have World of warcraft. My question is concerning which would be best for me, in your opinon.

I honestly dont have but a max of 3 to 5 hours a day, assuming i have nothing else to do other than work, to play. I like the final lvls of each, and the Battlegrounds/Arenas of course. My problem is that it takes forever in WoW, vs maybe a few days in GW. While endgame in WoW is spamming same high end spells over and over, GW seems to bring in a strategy with only 8 skills allowed. Id like to ask what are the ups and downs of each without causeing as much flame as possible.

They are diferant games, both with their own charm. 3-5h/day is a lot of time, and it suits both games. Play the one that you like the most, would be my advice. WoW has a bit more PvM(PvE) endgame things to do, but is a bit more timeconsuming, GW has more to do if your into PvP. But in the end, pick which game you like the most.

WoW has the advantage of having a slightly more mature playerbase, but on the other hand, it has a monthly cost (and its still flooded with people who really dont think).

I for one prefere the PvM in WoW, and the PvP in GW, but its all a mater of opinion.

Depends if you love PvE or PvP the most..

But Nightfall looks quite promising, even for PvE.

GW and WoW are two games so far apart you comparing them wouldn't do you any good, the only similarities are that they are online games set to a fantasy world.

Try comparing Battlefield to Battle Chess, you'll have better luck.

Sar-Thank you for your off-topic post... very helpful-casm.

Wait until GW:N comes out, then make your PvE vs PvM comparison.

Free to play ALWAYS wins over subscription games, in my opinion.

WoW is based alot around doing thing solo
GW is more based doing thing in teams.

WoW takes more time and effort to do every thing but in some instances this will pay off.

I have guild wars faction and prophecies and i play like 10 hours a week
and for no more than about 2-3 gours at a time i can say it is defenatly easier to play guild wars this way

but with 3-5hrs a day either game would be fine.

u cant really compare them because they are not the same thing.

GW is more of an online RPG where WoW is a proper MMO
