Question On Factions Location
Lavindathar
I've just reached Maatu Keep after playing through the story and doing all quests, but after looking at my map I noticed ive not yet been to :
Vizunah Square (foreign quarter)
Imperial Sanctum
Raisu Palace
Kaineng Center
Now, I'm wondering on the above four locations does the story take me there at some point so I get there at the right time, or do I have to make my own way there (especially the first 3) as I don't know if the story takes me there and if I should get a runner to these places!
Thanx in advance,
Lavi

The truth itself
If you're character is born in Cantha, you cannot access foreign quarter.
To continue your main quest, go to Kaineng Center (from marketplace, just north) Into the Emporer's area and talk to his Right hand.
Happy PvEing!

Way off the mark about Vizunah.
You can get to Vizunah Foreign after completing it from the Local side, but apparently you need to be with a team with at least 1 member doing the "Welcome to Cantha" quest.

Actually, once ascended/closer to the stars, you can backtrack and enter foreign. My assassin henched from Senji's right to foreign without a hitch several months ago.
Crowlley
People have said about the foreign quarter but not the really the other 3.
Kaineng center can be reached by going north from the marketplace through the byway. Just head along the coast northwards and you should get there, I think there is only 1 (large) group of afflicted on the way so it should be no trouble.
Raisu palace and the imperial sanctum are mission areas so you will come to them eventually.

Ok thankyou!
So I will eventually come to Imperial Sanctum and Raisu Palace.
And Im gonna try and trek to Vizunah Square (foreign) with henchies in a bit. Hopefully I can get there...
And Kaineng Center...do I have to go there with quests or anything? Or will it get bypassed unless I make a big effort to get there?
And is there any mission or anything for me at Vizunah Square (foreign) if I'm Canthan born?
Does it apply back that my Tyrian characters cant get to Vizunah local then? Or can they?
Thanx again!

According to Wiki regarding Vizunah Square (Foreign)
"For Canthan Characters, the gate will become open after completing the Factions storyline."

Raisu Palace and Imperial Sanctum are the last 2 missions of the game. So don't worry when you're farther into the game and you still haven't gotten to them. The only way to access them is to follow the storyline.
I don't think there is a quest that takes you directly to Kaineng Center. As Crowlley said, just head N from The Marketplace. You can usually even run by the large group of Afflicted, especially if you have a run skill. It's probably worth heading up to Kaineng though because there are 1.5k armor crafters there. It is the "center" of Cantha in the same way that Lion's Arch is for Tyria. Kaineng Center is also where you can take your Canthan characters over to Tyria. Whatever you do, do not pay for a runner to take you to Kaineng Center from The Marketplace. It is very easy to do on your own with run skills or you can take henchmen and fight through the 1 group of Afflicted that you'll encounter.
There is nothing at Vizunah Square (Foreign) for your Canthan character to do. It will already be marked as completed with whatever status you achieved on Vizunah Square (Local). The outpost does count towards the Explorer title if you're going for that though and there is an armorer (Oroku - has 1.5k Krytan armor for core classes, 1.5k Imperial armor for Assassins and Rits) nearby that you may or may not be interested in.

And for Kaineng, you can pretty much solo run there as soon as you get to the Marketplace, just head north and go till you get there.

Well Im gonna head up to Kaineng tomorrow.
I was trying to wait, as I have lots of money and will end up buying some awesome weapons and the best armour, too early on in the game.
Like the first time I played Proph, I had to wait until quests took me to Droks. I was trying to do the same thing here...And i believed Kaineng was the Canthan equivalent of Droks. On my second character through, as soon as I hit Becaons I got a runner to Droks, but the 1.5k armour and some greens, then went back to Beacons and carried on. I was trying to avoid that for my first time through in Cantha.
Oh well, I'm gonna fight my way up there tomorrow and get some good stuff. Got around 100k and 12 ectos to burn.
I'll also try the foreign sector tomorrow, as I'm already Closer to the stars.
My other question, is where can I get the 15k Canthan armours from - all different places?
As far as I know, there is Exotic, Canthan, Imperial, Luxon and Kurzick. Can these be obtained at Kaineng? Or all hidden out of the way?

Hey Lav,
Fancy seeing you here. The 15K canthan & Imperial are in Divine Path (after you beat Shiro in the Imperial Sanctum Mission) Note: that there are no Xunlai Agents, Material Traders, or Rare Material Traders available. You must have all the needed materials as well as the gold prior before starting the Imperial Sanctum mission. 15k Kurzick is in Vasburg Armoury (after the Eternal Grove Mission)
15K Luxon is in Leviathan Pits which is after Gyala Hatchery.

15k Exotic, Imperial, and Canthan are after the end of the game in the Divine Path area, as I mentioned above. 15k Kurzick is in Vasburg Armory, 15k Luxon can be bought in Leviathan Pits. You'll have access to these areas before the Divine Path (of course) but they are still pretty late in the storyline.

Thanx a lot guys...
And hey TDC :P

Usually people get to Kaineng as soon as they get to Marketplace. There actually is a quest that will take you to Kaineng. You will have to get there for City Under Attack, which is after Boreas Seabed, as the Emperor is in Raisu Pavilion, accessible only from Kaineng Center.
Lavindathar
Thanx.
Well, I just made it into Vizunah Foreign, and well that proves you DONT have to complete the factions storyline as Wiki states. So I've edited the page on Wiki to show you only need to be ascended.
