Did anyone ever do any research into their damage types? Both the pet guide and Guildwiki do not have any data on this.

Not that I know of, at least no one reliable. I have a PvE friend who supposedly tested them, but he also claimed that Knights armor was local when it was global, and he still claims that Earthquake always hits your feet... You get the point.

No. In addition, they do not auto-crit fleeing foes like players do.

If this is what you are looking for I believe the prima guide for Factions tells what type of dmg each pet does (Slashing, piercing Etc…) If I remember right it shows base dmg to. I do not have it with me so I can’t confirm.

The Prima guide has been proven incorrect.
