Yes, you can infuse every kind or armor there. But if you play factions it's useless to infuse your character, or you must be planning to play the prophecies campaign.
Yes you will be able to get infused same as any Tyrian character, but do remember that infusion is only needed to fight mursaats and jades, in Cantha its not needed.
