as the title states, where can i farm me up some tanned hide squares?
i have been farming minos (slow)
or the beginning of dunes of despair (centaurs)
both of which are pretty slow.
where to solo tanned hide squares with a 55 monk?

Try farming outside the Aborstone, the wardens there seem to drop Tanned Hide Squares fairly often.
I use a standard 55 build,

Yeah wardens outside Altruum ruins definately works..I salvaged the white armors that dropped as well since they will give you tanned hides. I used a similar build as mother goose but I threw in balanced stance for the KDs.

snake dance, tundra giants and the giant herder armor can salvage for tanned hides, as I remembered

Arborstone Explorable, SB Monk seems to work better. This is because it allows you to tank more Monsters without fear of getting overwhelmed. But sometimes they don't deal enough damage.

You could probably get 1k tanned hide in ~2 hours of farming in arborstone.

I have never tried Arborstone outside Altrumm, but Arborstone outside Tanglewood Copse seems to be alot more faster. More wardens in bigger mobs.

depending on how much leather you need, it might be easier to go to Bergen Hot Springs and farm Skeleton Archers there on Nebo. Lots of armor drops, which expert salvage to hide squares by ~1/3.

Snake dance north of Rankor has many many tundra giants. They drop boots often that will salvage into iron/hides/steel, and in a lot of cases have various runes. I take a 55 mo/w with balanced stance & SoJ.
Arborstone is the best location though for just hides. Getting there can be a pain in the fundament though.

I also farm the Tundra's, and hell they give alot of materials and runes.
