Got a question about Nightfall?
Burzurk
hey guys i am getting back into guild wars i quite a long time ago and was going to go buy the game and found out there was nightfall comeing do you need the full verizon game to play this game?

Each 'chapter' of Guild wars is a standalone game, so you don't need anything but NightFall to play. However, you can link chapters together if you have them, so that your heros can travel between them.

if youre "getting back into" what are you missing?
If you mean "do i need to buy factions to play Nightfall" then the anwer is no.
Nightfall will be awesome, so its good you are back.

To play Nightfall only you need to buy Nightfall. You do not have to own the original Guild Wars or Factions. However if you do own Prophecies or Factions and Nightfall, each and every class you make can goto any of these places that you own.

im actually jealous of the 'new people' who will only have Nightfall for the fact that their concepts of the existing classes and builds wont be biased towards their old play styles... if that makes sense...

Try posting an innovative build on the Guild Wiki, or talk about effective use of a skill the old guard have already deemed "useless." You can show them films of success, you can do math showing them wrong -- but just like religious fanatics, the "experts" demand that you stick to their definition of "right."

its good that anet makes each chapter stand alone
