First off, yes, probably the best way to make money in pre is to farm charr. But I think this way is cooler and more fun. ALSO, I don't know if this has been posted before, if it has, sorry.

Profession: Mo/E OR E/Mo
Stats: I dont have exact stats, but smiting and fire should be high, then protection and healing.
Skills:
1.Retribution
2.Symbol of Wrath
3:Fire Storm
4:Shielding Hands
5:Orison of healing
6:Healing Breeze(monk primary)
or
6:Aura of Restoration
7:Optional
8:Optional
Armor:Full collectors
Weapon & Offhand:Anything will do, energy bonus works good

What To Do: First take the quest Protection Prayers from Grazden the Protector. Then take the quest Bandit Raid from....well I can't remember who, but he's near the guild registrar in Ascalon.DO NOT COMPLETE EITHER OF THESE QUESTS! After you have taken those two quests, go to Ashford Abbey. Walk out the portal(not into catacombs) and put on Retribution(wait for energy or not). Then go north and a tad west. There should be a group of about 8 Bandits. Run in, aggro them all, and use Symbol Of Wrath. Then fire on a Fire Storm.(THEY DO NOT RUN FROM AREA OF EFFECT IN PRE) They should be near dead, if not, let the retribution kill them, and heal when needed. Also, if your a low level, Shielding Hands should make it so u take little-to-no damage. After they are all dead, collect your loot, head back to Ashford Abbey, sell to merchant and repeat.

Loot:From this, I made about 10k in Pre(not extremely fast, but not too slow), PLUS about 2 black dyes and many other dyes.
NOTE: After awhile, the drops will diminish, same as in post sear

You can pretty much kill anything in Pre-Sear with Fire Storm alone.
I use a Me/E to kill Stone Elements mostly, throw Empathy and Conjure Phant on a few as well, using Ether Feast as a heal. Pre-Searing isn't that hard =P

In pre I would just farm the aloe seeds right outside barradin's estate. You can kill 30-50 of them in a run which takes ~10 minutes (1 shot kills them and there are no auto-attack mobs nearby), and you can sell their unnatural seeds for 10g each at Fort Ranik.

Yet another nice guide.

I should point out though (I forgot to in your Catacomb thread), you do not need to be x/Mo or Mo/x to do this.

As said before, anyone can do this (any profession/ any profession).

But since you made it specifically for Mo/E or E/Mo, well done.

Just because this is an awesome spot to farm, and just because I have too much free time, I made a small movie. I power-levelled my monk 3->9 here doing this...then dropped all my healing skills ^^. Did it with just Firestorm, Symbol of Wrath and Retribution (retribution is not needed but is fun).

Nice video. I never did this with those high of stats. DANG!!!! My battles usually took about a mintue(though that was N/Mo[i dont know]), but nice.

Basically, for anyone interested, get the shield from Devona's first quest (hp +15 and you get 8 armor when hp is over 50%) and get to it.

At level 3, my skill order was as follows

Aggro
Healing Breeze
Glyph of Energy (or whatever that glyph is that reduces firestorm to 0 cost)
Firestorm
Shielding Hands
Healing Breeze again
Symbol of Wrath
Heal some here
