FoW solo farming is very nice. You can get 4 shards in one run thats 12k + money +loot + chests. Only trick is that ull have to learn first how to get to farming spots

When I need cash, I typically do one of three things:
1) Fight for faction and trade it for jade/amber depending on which side I pick (typically Luxon in Aspenwood x12 for 10,000 faction = 10 jade = 4k? depending on jade preices...makes about 2k per hour unless the bonders are out en mass)...slow going, but fun in spite of leechers and you get SOME faction even if you lose.
2) Raisu Palace chest runs: Keys cost 600g each and unidentified golds sell for 1k each...so each key is potentially 400g profit. If playing with a fair group (taking into account the occasional purple chest netting 100-150g) an initial investment on 10 keys (6k) will return 8-10k (profit of 2-4k) in a little under an hour...NOT including the occasional low req item you might want to ID yourself...the gamble being you may get perfect or near perfect platinum bows, oni blades, diamond aegis etc...and hit the 50-100k jackpot or a 300g merch item. Do it for a day and you can average up to 10k per hour (averaging in a high-end item or two).
3) Totem Axe farming: Totem axes are pretty easy to sell at 5k and it's an easy solo run (look at guildwiki for some good builds or here in builds section)...at, say, 2 runs per hour and 1-3 axes per run, you can easily make 10k per hour (not including your selling time)...it can get tedious but it is steady cash.
If you want to make cash a bit quicker, do the opposite of what conventional wisdom might suggest: sell low. Before dismissing this advice, consider this as an assessment of what your playing time is worth to you. I typically look up the prices of green items and gold items on this site and others and subtract 20% (settling for 25% if someone wants to dicker) and here's why:
The cycle of American life has become a vicious circle of making more money by working longer hours so you can have more liesure time...think about this applied to the game....spending huge amounts of time selling high-end items (trying to get the absolute best price) so we can get more in game gold to buy cool stuff so we can enjoy the game more.
...the paradox causes more spam than I can stand for 100k+_ ecto items. I look at the price for an item at, say, 100k and know the value is commonly known for that so I undercut the market (pisses people off, but I make the sale very fast by comparison) and sell for 80k. People know it's a bargain and will still ask if I'll take 75k...sure, no problem. They go away happy and I only spent 10minutes trying to sell the item, where the people I pissed off are still spamming for the next 2 hour or so (not playing the game) because people want to buy items for less and will wait for a deal...I'm the deal they are waiting for
In the long run I make more cash because I make more sales...and I have more time to enjoy playing in my freshly made, black-dyed armor and with my sparkly weapons...
