This char made me a galdiator, so I wanted to share this build:
Attributes:
Earth: 11+1+3
Air : 10+2
Energy: the rest + 1
Skill Set:
1) Elemental Attunement {Elite} (energy)
2) Enervating Charge (Air)
3) Stoning (Earth)
4) Obsidian Flame (Earth)
5) Stone Daggers (Earth)
6) Blinding Flash (Air)
7) Armor of Earth (Earth)
8) Res Signet (unlinked)
Summary:
This build works both defense and offense. He can shut down (using blind) up to 3 melee characters. He can take down almost any melee or caster by himself.
This build start the game with blinding W/A/R in the other team, switching between them and continue to blind them. He can keep 2 of them blind all the time, therefore it is important to have blind for 9 secs [blind has 4 sec recharge] (12 air attribute).
Then as clutch player he switches to kill using charge + stoning (cause damage + knockdown) + obsidian (for huge damage), then can switch back to blind and the combo again.
When the other team is unbalanced/degen then he starts as spiker (with the bonus knockdown) and creates massive damage ASAP.
The stone daggers are used to create pressure on monk or on a soft character in heavy monking team (2 monk in a team).
When the other team has an interrupt ranger -> blind him, then you have 9 sec to attack the real target you're looking for, then blind again.
When faced with interrupt mes, use the stone daggers to draw his interrupts, then continue to kill him with the KD combo + obsidian.
In tight spots use armor to reduce the damage. That is arenas where you have poor visibility and nowhere to go, or when you're low with energy and 2 W attack you, and you cannot run.
Notes & Concerns:
The build works only in groups with a monk for it has no self heal.
It can be shut down by a mes, but usually they take other characters as
their prime targets.
When you're faced with an A, you never take your eye away from him. If he's not your prime target, that is there is a mes around, you keep him blind when he gets too close.
Any W using a frenzy is immidiatly panished with blind + obsidian. You will spot this, for you switch targets from blinding them.

Yep. This is indeed a very nice build. I call it my 'Monk Hunter" build. Blinding Flash is generally a 'free' slot for me. I may either use a ward, Gale, or Whirlwind depending on my mood. Nice to see other people using this .

I dont see how blind is "free slot". blind keep 2 W/R/A useless forever (say 1 min) while gale does it for 3 sec every 30 sec for one character (1/10 of the time). ward can save some damage but you still cannot cast in it when there is an A on you. It is also useless VS rangers. whirlwind knockdown someone who attacks you, but cannot save your monk enabling him to heal your party or your mes from 2 W.
No I do not see anything that can replace blind in this build.
Did you play this build VS a monk ? the monk is the only character that this build is not designed to attack. It can cause slow damage to a monk using stone daggers, but that is more added value than what this build is about. If you use your other spells VS a monk you will end with no energy soon, no harm to the monk. The reason is that the spells take 1-2 sec to cast and a good monk will put reversal to counter them and heal himself more that he started with.
