Can you buy all prof armor for your hero's?

I'm just wondering. I saw at the guildwars official site that you can buy armor for your hero's but you can only buy armor for your own primeary proffesion so is it possible to buy elementalist armor for you hero if you don't have an elementalist?

I have yet to see anything that says that and I don't see it now. It's been talked about and said that you can add runes to your hero's armor, but that's the extent of it. If you look here: http://www.guildwars.com/support/gam...all/heros1.php
it says this:
".... Heroes gain experience points for finishing quests, completing missions, and defeating enemies. Like henchmen, they take their share of gold and loot when defeating enemies. Players can improve a Heroes' weapon, shield, and focus item as that NPC gains levels; the Hero's armor improves automatically each time that Hero levels up."

I'm personally glad about this, I don't want to manage #heroes x #characters x # armor pieces. Thought I suppose it *might* have helped with all the heroes looking exactly the same (yay).

If there was something I wish I could play with though would be weapon/equip swaps and the hero handling the holding off all such pieces. But nope.

I think it is good that they have done that, but an option to buy other skins would have been nice.

yeah - maybe apply to all the pieces at once for a reasonable chunk o change
