I am editing in this fasion rather than overwriting what I had so that the quotes given are understood in terms of what those people were actually quoting, a req7 shield. Everything I said in later post about other merchant quoting it at 500k is still true obviously.

Okay, I'm not very knowlegable about PCs, but once when I was looking at a merchant's assortment of about 6-8 200-250k 15^50 swords back in Prophasies time, maybe a month or two before Factions, he quoted me 500k, but I see the economy has alot more supply now, and prices have generally dropped, so I would figure 200k now. Aspecially since though it is a somewhat 'in demand' skin, I kind of don't really believe that someone would want to pay more than 200k for a tall shield... I think the requirement is really good on it, but I've used this actual site as my primary resource and I am confused about one thing. There were about 8 combinations of shield mods listed from most wanted, and mine was 6/8. That's not good, but I know there are more than 8 combinations, so maybe those were the top eight and I'm lucky that mine was even on the list? I'm not sure. Anyway, maybe I'm confused, but isn't this -2 -2 combination very rare? I have never seen it anywhere else. I don't keep up on Factions greens, so maybe I'm out of date, but when there is a comparable green drop, usually the normal person won't pay much more for an equivilent gold unless it's a rare skin. Like, I also have a victo's bulwark (not that it's 120k anymore, It's down to like 35!) But since it's a cool skin and the most in demand combination (+30 health always and -2 damage when in a stance) who would pay 500k for a tall shield with same stats? Definently a Magma's shield, but not a tall shield. Anyway, this is just my thought process, plz help me out, even if you don't have much expirience. I'd appreciate any input!

BUMP: Sorry everyone who posted here, this is in fact a req8 shield, not perfect 7 like I thought. Obviously the quote from in game merchant still is true, he quoted it at 500k about 6 or more months ago (pre-factions).

Hmm. I haven't played in a long time. I never really knew the terminology that well either. I'm amazed at how rich/knowlegable some people are because for a while there, I was playing for hours a day. Anyway, I mean... Someone who is rich and trades alot. Probably like you. This guy was selling numerous items, since i was a warrior, he showed me like 8 15^50 high and low req swords. I figured he knew his stuff. I guess I should call him "a rich guy who seemed to know what he was talking about considering how rich he was". I also trusted him because he said 500k even though he wanted it from me. But I think he was only willing to trade for a 250k sword, so really he was probably only willing to pay 250-300k. But he's in it for the money, maybe given his willingness, I could have gotten 350-500 at the time, but who knows. He knew it was req8 btw, he saw it.

well because it's req/ 8 and not 7 i would say 100k+

sold my req 8 for about 100k.... and took awhile... prices have dropped ALOT since then

Agree with stuey. Anything over 100k would be lucky for this, imo.
