Questions about Obsidian Earth Staff

I only saw picture of Obsidian Earth Staff from http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Earth_Staff but I never saw anyone carrying one nor anyone posting any tread on pricechecking or selling an Obsidian Earth Staff. Is it consider very rare item as rare as the Ghostly Staff? Was the Obsidian Earth Staff recent add-on to GW or was it already there since the release of GW?

The Orrish Earth Staff was around since the beginning of Prophecies, but it seems that the update which added the wand-type staff skins replaced all the older skins, including the Orrish.

They still drop quite a bit in pre-searing, though they are obviously not max damage. I saw someone post a pic of their gold 10/10 req 8 staff just the other day. I'll see if I can find the link.

No Savio, they only replaced Cynn's staff skin. The Orrish can be found on some mid-high level areas, I got one like 3 months ago with my mesmer on the desert.

If the Orrish Earth Staff was around since the beginning of Prophecies already, then I bet it is even harder to find than the Ghostly Staff because I never found one single of drop of earth staff in Orrish skin. Too bad the Galigord's Stone Staff is not in Orrish skin otherwise it'll be perfect.

Personally I think the Galigord skin is much nicer than the Orrish anyways. The crystaline structure is more fitting aswell...

The Orrish Staff IS rare, perfect ones being rarer than Ghostly Staves yes. I've never even seen a perfect 20/20 one, though like someone else said there are some 20/10, 10/10 etcs around. (Someone correct me on this PLEASE, I want a pic of a 20/20 one, so I hope I'm wrong).

I've been interested in them for quite some time and have only ever heard of 10/10 ones.
