Well, statswise it is possible. I just don't see what you mean with 'longsword-crystalline skin'. Or it is a longsword, or it is a crystalline.... They both behave the same way, like axes or hammers.

oh sorry i explain it a little better.
Say u have a based long sword and u add a hilt(skin) to make it look like a crystalline sword?

Is that possible?
because i dont like the sword that has the crystalline effect. it look like a butcher knife.

You can not change a sword's skin, a longsword will always be a longsword.

Hehe. You obviously have no idea what that "butcher knife" would be worth, especially with 15^50 and 20/20. It's hands down the most expensive weapon in the whole game. We're talking in the order of several million gold here.

Just because some idjits put an insane price tag on it doesnt make it look any better, its still one of the most crap skins in the game imho.

WOOT U GO TIGERerrr Tigger errr Tijger... :P but i agree. Just because something looks different should not put a price tag of millions of dollars on it. BUT that is just my opinion :P

It's just a matter of tastes... some people love it, other people don't like it at all. But its outstanding price is due to its rarity, not surely because it's the best looking skin around.

It is, more importantly, the rarity that puts such a price tag on the item! A cool skin does not hurt though.

Well, a multi million $ price tag sure distracts from the look.

That is insane! Even if I had the money, I wouldnt be buying $4000 jeans? Guess its a symptom of having too much money and nothing else to do with it...

Why exactly is Sundering bad?
Never told it's good, but when it is that expensive there must be something good on it.
And what damage mod do you think is good?

Sundering has been used when selling perfect low req weapons for a long time. Initially, power sellers bought perfect sundering mods and perfect fortitude mods and added them to perfect weapons. This was when the mods themselves were considered very rare and people would actually pay more for a perfect weapon if it already had a 20/20 and +30 on it than they would pay for the weapon and the mods seperately. This is no longer the case in the current market, in fact you see some weapons with 20/20 and +30 on them being sold now for less than the value of the mods themselves.

People seem to have wised up to the fact that the only mods of note IMO are zealous and vampiric. also an ele mod of your choice is always a usefull option.

A 15% unconditional axe rival the price of a perf crystaline imo.

One was here a while ago for 1250+ ecto?

I was under the impression that 15% unconditional weapons didn't drop anymore?? is this true of false? I know that there are a very few still in circulation but as far as new drops go..... is what i am asking

I think there are still some 15% unconditional weapons out there. They don't drop, of course, but there are people who have them, and I doubt they have any intention to sell them.

Hey Neostars, take a look at zodiac swords (they look like a longsword AND have cool gems and light effect). You may like those, and they are much-MUCH cheaper than the crystaline sword.

Yes the skin sucks, but who cares if you can sell it for millions?
