Farming Titans - worth it?

I've been farming the titans in DNKP quest, but drops are pretty crappy... I know there is a chance for a lucky Magmas sheild, but after clearing almost the entire map twice, I haven't gotten one gold. Am I just unlucky or are they just bad to farm?

If the rare Magmus did fall it would be worth it.

But like yourself it never did for me, only white after white shield.

Cleared it many many times-best drop is usually a gold armor.Waste of time IMO.

I used to do it for the runes and still do sometimes. But it was mainly for the gold drop, 100g+ each time and if you salvage the titan armour, there seemed to be a good chance of getting steel. Plus it was *really* fun.

I think the drop mix is a bit different now though. It seems like more non-max items drop than titan armour, though can't be 100% sure.

I'm seriously thinking of completing the quest though. Lots more farming areas around now.
