Actually...This Earlier picture looks alot like a male version of the female dervishs armor. Notice the chest piece.

It's not really that they're releasing screenshots straight to other media outlets first; they just had various press events where people could play the game a bit and they take screens they post from there.

Because they follow Sunspear theme even when they are monks.

Ah.. that might be right.. and we may also be seeing the first armor that comes black dyed right out of the crafter.. either that or its actually the red that you can dye with black beings the parts you cannot dye.

Nice armor. Male Dervish's armor sucks. I created a pvp Dervish and the only armor they had were gowns. Oh and that armor allmost looks goth.

Either that or Palawa Joko the scourge; honestly I really can’t tell, unless it could also be one of Varesh soldiers converted. Furthermore you can notice she lost her neckpiece that goes around in back of her neck.

I would guess this is that Varesh uses the sixth abaddon god form (maybe is her unique skill), but I dont know why she wields spear.

If you really ponder at it, I think there is a better art direction then what is shown here (or at least I hope). Knowing A-net they might have something much more wondrous then this in wait; I mean they never showed some of the 15K armor for the monk or the others in Factions did they?

actually they did.

just searched through my screenshots from guild wars factions.

I have 15k armor screens they showed at the offical site. that was dated before the release.

/I guess you never know.

/imo. design looks too plain to me. but in paragon's case. that might be on purpose.
