Triple Green Weekend

Does anyone has idea how much difference would this event make on canthan greens. I have 10 chkkrs pincers in just 2 hours. I saw a person selling one from 12.5k.

I was in Kaineng last night to sell off my regular boss like the gold scrolls and the amount of trade spam was impressive...and then I realised I wasnt in D1 but in D3.

Prices of Cantha greens will tank, period, I saw tons of people selling but I doubt anyone was buying and definitely not in line with the volume of sellers.
I could also see prices dropping per minute, Sunreach has been going for 40-50K lately and it was being offered for 30K already and this was after maybe 3 hours of triple drop greens.

So basically, if you want a specific green and you want it cheap and dont have the time or the inclination to farm it you're in luck, it'll be going cheap.

sell them quickly, i think prices will go down very quickly. nice spoils

They will deffinatly be at all time lows by the end of the weekend. They will slowly go up after that, but probably not by a whole lot.

I am planning to keep them for a period of time how long would it be? I can wait a week or two but I want to have kurzick 15k full dyed black before nightfall. As I asked before how long would it be take to restore price drops and waiting and selling them for current prices 10-15k would be very fast sell a week later I think

Sunreach Shield being sold for 20k now.

Prices taking a huge hit but that's fine. Buy or farm what you need or think you will need.

Yeah, get what you need now cos prices are gonna hit rock bottom.

I think it may put the prices of Tyrian greens up to be honest though...

I doubt Tyrian greens will see a rise in price since nobody really wants them. Rago's and Drago bows are always in demand but the rest aren't.

Canthan greens will be dirt cheap by tomorrow. Most of the stuff I'm picking up this weekend is just replacing crafted/collector items.

Would be cool if there was a "double skill point per level gained weekend" before Nightfall comes out.

Come Monday, the merchant won't even buy most of the greens. Dump whatever you have as fast as you can.

I'm happy for the lower prices. I'll just do my normal questing and completing my titles and when the weekend is over I'll buy some cheap greens.

Same here, after this weekend I'm buying the Kaolin Blade for my warrior then all my characters will be set for armor and weapons for Nightfall so I'll probably just farm money for my Paragon's armor and weapons until then.

trying to get the greens I want this weekend (mostly caster stuff....but still cant get those dang island guardian bosses to drop green for me).....whatever else I get is going to the new nightfall heros.....though I think that some of the harder to reach bosses greens will still keep a better value......

Just a quick insight---I just purchased Sunreach's Shield for one of my Heros in Nightfall for a lowly and slightly depressing 13k

Never, It will remain the same because no one will buy them and Nightfall is coming out in 2 weeks.Your best bet is to sell to newbies when Nightfall comes out, ( PS: I dont mean scam but people that need these items because they dont have them yet).

i saw sunreach's sheild for 12 or 13k last night

i have yet to have a green drop. i have killed 34 bosses and nothing. I was able to get my skill hunter title, but not one green. You yould think with that many kills i would get at least one.

How many heros/hench where with you? If it was 8 then in theory you'd only get 1/8 of the drops from those 34 bosses, meaning around 4 possible times for a green to drop (in a statistical anaylsis sort of way). So not getting a green out of four kills isn't that unbelieveable.
