Drunkard and ale hound title nerf

There were some posts about the zoning trick. recieving all dunken minutes for zoning instead of waiting.
so i tried getting lvl5 drunk zoned and nothing happened +the drunken effects were gone. But after another minute the drunken lvl4 effekts appeared and i got my drunken miute.

It seems zoning removes the drunken effects but doesn't help anymore getting the title fast

can anyone tell me if there was an update that fixed this.

Guess i need to create a bot to get the title now. Don't want to sit in front of the computer 170h for the title.

How does zoning increase minutes in the title? I don't understand.

You drink to level 5 drunkenness then zone outside? And it logs the time you would spend drunk into the title without actually waiting?

Valeria, the drunk effect BUG (fixing a bug is not the same as a nerf) involving zoning, was fixed almost 4 months ago as soon as it was discovered by a.net. This is old news. Check the dates of posts next time before you follow their advice.

And as an drunkard in the works myself, just drink while you play. If you can't multitask like that, do it while your in town looking for a group, and while your in town spamming WTS/WTB, or waiting for the AB battle countdown timmer to start. You'd be surprised how much idle time in this game adds up.

This was fixed quite awhile back, and I'm sure you could search to find threads on it.

lol it's not fixed in any way or form. all they did was to create some anti-macro code so u cant drink everytime from the same stack of ales.
used to zone when i did the title back in may, i'm still zoning as i'm doing the title now. seriously havent noticed the slightest change

Guinevere, you mean to say that if you split your stacks of ale into, say, stacks of 5 each, and proceed to drink your fill and zone, that you will still be able to zone and recieve your title?

if I drink a solo stack of 5 and zone, it gives me one minute credit of drunkeness, and continues the drunk if I wanna throw more ales back on.. ehhhh.. ><

Perhaps the idea is to zone several times? That you'll get one minute credit for each zone? Back when I originally tried this, when I had less cash, it seemed to work that way. Perhaps I'll try something momentarily once I am finished doing some PC cleanup.

Then don't get it. Botting is against the EULA and can get you banned.

I believe she means drink each one of the 5 from a separate stack. Drinking 5 from the same stack even if the stack only consists of 5 ales would have the same effect as drinking 5 from a stack of 250.

ok this is exactly how i'm doing my minutes atm.
stack A B C D

i'm in ascalon city.
drink 5 ales from stack A --> G --> map guild hall
drink 5 ales from stack B --> leave guild hall
drink 5 ales from stack D --> guild hall

just go on drinking fom differend stacks everytime, possibly with no recurrent pattern (dont do A B C D A B C D try to mix them)

i made my first 1001 minutes by waiting. That was pretty hard!
I wonder if i will ever have the time and money (2000k-3000k) to get the full 10.000minutes

the zoning trick almost seems random anyhow, when it was first reported, i tried all the methods suggested, not one worked for me.. but Ill try this again tonight
