alright i bought that issue of pc gamer and entered my code but never played nightfall , when nightfall comes out will i be able to get one !?

You will in Nightfall, yes.

When Nightfall is released, and you buy it, the /bonusitems present will give you a broken toy. That will lead you to a quest with the minipet as a reward.
