The guide on Guildwiki.org is a good one. The hard part is getting a team that will do it. So many idiots that want to open a certain chest, or cap a certain skill. Took me months to get a good PUG for it.

I also found minion masters and interrupt rangers (especially concussion) useful. If you are fighting a Shiroken Ele and you don't interrupt Slither Armor, you can say goodbye to anyone in melee range.

Running? I was under the impression that you can't skip killing the bosses on the way to complete the mission.

You run to cutscenes. For example, if you take Danika, you can skip a lot of enemies by running over some bridges and triggering her cutscene. You can also run to the ritualist boss and kill it, then go through the door and trigger the cutscene. All of this skips long fights with Shiroken, but skips no bosses.

Take Talon + Danika

At the hall full of traps - get the entire party to run past all traps until you get the the Ritualist boss at the end. Kill boss to open door.

All other rooms only kill those foes that you need to. Don't try and clear the whole room if the enemies on the sides are not attacking you.

An Ele/Mes can echo chain the Celestial Storm skill, making large fights really quick and easy.

Just get your skill and burn through everything

Don't stop for chests or anything, and whoever needs to cap a skill should die because they have plenty of chances to cap them earlier. Just ditch them and move on

I got master's by fighting my way until towards the end. There is a long hallway with a bunch of shiro'ken, with a rit boss at the end of it. Have your whole party run past the shiro'ken and go straight for the rit boss, after he is dead the cutscene will come. After that's finished, just kill the 4 bosses, ignore the regular enemies, and after they are dead, mission's over. I don't know if this will be helpful to you or not, but I got master's on this mission by doing that. Hope it helps

What's with all the hate against skill cappers? You have to kill the bosses anyway. Activating the signet takes 2 seconds, selecting the skill and clicking "accept" another two or three, if you're slow. Now, how many of you have honestly ever missed master's by 5 seconds?

Before you stone me to death, I agree that stuff like that is unneccessary, especially when everyone agrees on attempting master's. However, consider that one lag spike, getting stuck on a corner, or misuse of a celestial skill will easily cost you as much time as that despicable skill cap.

Running to the Rit boss was already mentioned, as was running to Danika's Cutscene. To be more precise about that:

Start running once you have defeated the Ele boss. Do not stop until the cutscene triggers. Do not skip the cutscene right away! Wait until Danika has moved down into the room a bit. After the cutscene Danika will be a random healer NPC, healing everyone, Shiro'ken, too! Better have her away from the fight. Try to push up the stairs to the north quickly, as there may be other Shiro'ken coming from behind.

I've got masters plenty of times on that mission by just fighting. It's pretty simple as long as your team knows what they're doing. The team composition can vary widely, however I've found that a MM, an Echo SS necro, and a nuker in the team usually gets the best time. If you have a MM and an Echo SS necro on your team you won't even have to bother running.

Also you need to take the right hench when you enter. Talon and Danika are usually the best to take, I do find that if you know what you're doing you can take Cynn and Danika instead. And you can skip the part that Talon usually takes care of by simply running up the stairs and right up to the boss. However, the downside of this is that your minions will get wasted and you're nuker will get frustrated when Cynn uses her 'skills'.

My experience is that getting masters is having a bit of luck when you enter a random group.
We have used Talon and Danika most of the time on the times I got masters.

The most devestating non-boss skill is Sliver armor. So have one member focus on the elementalists and interrupt/strip the enchantment at all costs.
So make sure you have one interrupter or one 'stripper' focused at the ele's.

I'd take a Broad Head ranger or good interrupt ranger with me (I think Broad Head is more valuable here than Barrage).
Minion Master seems almost a must for Pug's.

I've been in a group that did the mission today in 16.54 and it did not even feel fast.
We killed all oponents in the hall with the Rit boss and did not really rush.
Killed quite a few opponents just before the Danika cutscene, so we could have been at least one or two minutes faster.
I think it's more about keeping speed than running.
Just make sure the group can have their skills recharged at every group, even when keeping the speed.
And, don't forget the celestial skills.
Those make a huge difference.

Take three warriors and a minion master:

The warriors aggro and tank as many enemies as possible. (triple chop works well) if one of the monks has hands/seed it will be much easier.

When a load of enemies are present, one warrior uses Storm of Swords. 25 damage per second for all three warriors and any minions that are close will kill any group very quickly.

As there usually aren't many more than three major groups before each boss, you can chain the storm of swords, kill the boss and it recharges.

Repeat until the end. I did this for masters in ~15 minutes.

we took no warriors and beat masters by 4 and a half minutes, but that sounds like a good plan

Yeah the running to the rit boss with talon and Danika is the way to go. I went as an MM in a balanced team and it was all over in 11 minutes.

Hey Mallyx [icU]

Mo/Me

Here's the PUG that mastered raisu in 17:37 yesterday:

1 monk (me, leader)
2 rangers (one is a friend of mine)
2 warriors
1 assasin
2 elementalists
Talon & Danika

I've assigned rangers to interrupt different Shiroken Eles and melee attackers to bodydblock and stand their ground. We did have half a dozen deaths due to Shiroken Ele spikes, overextending and mistakes in bodyblocking but we made it. Time of completion could have been closer to 17 minutes if we had ran more aggressively. The team was whining about getting more monks but it's a good thing I was leading so I just loaded after assigning tasks to teammates. What surprised me most was the lack of "good job, monk", "gg" and similar stuff after beating the mission. Seems like everyone only knows how to whine..

Talon & Danika are wisest to take in beginning since with them you can skip the most time consuming parts.

Celestial skills are very powerful and they make this mission a lot easier so use them whenever there's large mob of enemies/boss ahead.

Elementalists & Warriors in the party really make a difference in this mission since their celestial skills are very powerful, but any kind of team composition can master this quite easily.

After Danika cutscene just run to the rit boss without paying attention to other enemies in the area and focus killing it away. Then after next cutscene it's just one mob with couple bosses before mission ends.

If you are unsure to survive against shiroken elementalists or there's no good interrupts in your party against it's skills, one ritual lord with shelter/union etc. helps minimize harm done by sliver armor.

I've occasionally had choking rangers in my team when mastering Raisu, the continual area interrupts help against eles (among all the other casters), and especially against spellbreaker'ed Shiroken Monks (I often bring signet of disenchantment just to rip through those).

Apart from that, it's essentially all firepower... a few warriors (easy enough with one) that are set to deal damage (not gear tanker wars!), domination spells(shatter hex anyone?), eles and such. The most important thing is to be aggressive - push hard and don't slow down unless it's absolutely critical.

My guild once ran a Me/Mo tank using IW, Prot Spirit, Spirit Bond, Ancestors/Sympathetic Visage. He also had a scythe.. We breezed through the mission.

I got my best time on that mission with my sin+henches by doing talon+danika, running to appropriate cutscenese etc as detailed above. I think that was when I was obsessed with making fevered dreams + twisting fangs work. It ended up working great on this mission(much better than assassins promise since enemies don't drop as fast).

I beat it with 2 barragers, 2 minion masters, me as a monk and a nuker, we had 2 slots left for a warr and a sin but they didnt play a role someone else couldn't fill in properly. More than enough corpses around to supply 2 minion masters and barrage for good firepower. People brought several self-heals, so we flied easily with just one monk, but two is recommended.
