panda ranger pet?

I have heard rumers about there being a panda pet for ranger, is ti true ? I ask this question because i have seen a picture of a ritualist and a panda in the GWF booklet, if the rumers are true, why would Guildwiki not have it in their ranger pet section? I'm really starting to think this is not true;

Npc ranger has it as a pet during The Red Frog quest. Players can't have it.

Anet was going to add panda into their game but in China, it is illegal to sell any games where you hurt pandas. It is offensive to their country and things.

There is a panda mini pet, are you referring to this?

Given out in the GW GvG series to the winning team....I think only 8 are in existance, and one guy was selling for 4m gold.

Panda's were supposed to be a charmable pet in Factions. But some legal stuff happened and they was X-ed. You'll notice the only Pandas in the game now cannot be harmed or anything.

Wasn't there a panda character in those Ramna 1/2 fighting games? Or where they not released in China? That's very weird about pandas in China.

It's not illegal, just greatly disrespectful. Anet could have easily not sold their game to China, but they have compassion, and there is money to be made.

You cannot get charmable pandas in the game because that would make them pets and pets are liable to die. Which is disrespectful in China.

As stated there are limited minipet pandas, this is fine because minipets dont die.
