Are there enough Pre-Release packs where you live?

I told Gaile Gray today there were not enough Pre-Release packs where I live, she told me to post it on the forums.

So the question: Are there enough Pre-Order packs where you live?

I live in an EB Game....so theres alot of copies....

Well, around here no game shops have even heard of the pre-release pack let alone have any in stock. All you get is a blank stare and an offer to pre-order the game. A few very nearly accused me of lying when I explained what the pre-release pack is.

Not a single copy to be had in my town.

well here in norway they still have it on cdon.com if you buy the ce edition. they also mail the keys to you..(got mine yesterday)..

Not even a single copy here as well, so a friend bought me one somewhere in US.

Well on release day, I got to Compusa an hour after they opened and my copy was the third to last. But I went to Bestbuy a few days ago and now they have like three shelves of the things.

CA.. bestbuy was saying they aren't doing presale anymore.. lol, just gunna order it online~

at the time I had pre-ordered mine, they had none in stock, it took them a week though. I'm from NZ so its no big deal.

No where near to be found in Belgium.

Where I am (victoria, australia) there wasn't enough pre-orders for Factions, but there were much more of them for Nightfall, so I was happy when I picked up mine

I pre ordered Nightfall from EB about 3 weeks ago (The pre-release packs are not even available off the shelf here), apparently they ran out of pre release packs and would "try to get more in". Rang them up several times and no luck, there now claiming it was a limited edition deal and its likely I will miss out on it now.. More then slightly pissed off about this to be honest. This is in Queensland Australia BTW.

None in central Missouri that I've been able to find. And Amazon is only carrying those from outside sellers which are ranging from $9.99 to $24.99, depending on the week.

So far, major suckage value. Not looking good for this family's three copies.....

That's funny, my local game mania store had several, and my local Fnac ( in Leuven ) sold them at 1 eurocent each, if you buy 100...you can play 1000 hours of CH1 and 2 for just 1 euro. My friend went to buy 1, and the guy asked:wanna have the rest too? There are plenty in my town...( Fnac was a bit late though )

I got accidently two pre-order packs with CE copy reservation for free. The store is located in Finland. They said that they have plenty of them but didn't expect them to send two. Giving another key to one of my guild members.

GAME in sweden has(had?) pre-order disks for free. But there where no signs or pre-order boxes on the sales-floor.
And the nearby EB-games closed down (now only one EB-games left in town).

So could be an abundance of pre-order disks (at GAME) or very few so only those interested (aka ask for pre-order) in Nightfall get one.

Remind me: pre release pack is the sunspear and soulbreaker doohickey?

Same thing happened to me too. Makes me wonder how many actually got two PBPs by mistake.

Fry's in Concord, CA had about 10 last week, but the local Best Buy had a big fat zero last time I was there. When Factions came out, the situation was similar: they had nothing until release day, and really didn't seem prepared. I would love to do a local survey, but my husband would disapprove. lol


Edit: Went to the local BB today, and as usual, and as expected, they had nothing. Loads of WOW stuff, but nothing for NF. Electronics Boutique, in the mall, is a sad joke when it comes to PC games.
