Thread Necromancy

Can we report thread that have been bumped from months and months ago? Most often it is 1.) Something negative 2.) A long nerfed build. 3.) A question answered a long time ago. People start responding to this threads without realizing the date, and it often results in flames or needless repetition.

Yeah, if threads are being bumped with incompetent posts, report them and the thread will be sent back to antiquity.

what do you consider the death or a thread? 1 week of no posts?

They're talking about threads that haven't been touched in months.

Yeah, recently I was reading through a couple of threads when I noticed that they were resurrected from over a year ago. The idiotic thing was that they were only re-animated to add some inane, lame-arsed comment.

Necromancy is fine as long as A) the thread is still relevant to GW and B) the necro post is relevant to discussion.

We're more hard on necro posts than we are on normal posts, so if you're going to raise a thread from the dead, make sure your comment is constructive and appropriate.
