Well, as not facinating as a the title sounds, I personally think it's a good idea.
Here's the scoop:
Let's use the Warriors as an example. Okay, both warriors are targeting the same guy. They use "blah blah blah" ater 5 seconds (in order for the sync) they both do an attack. The first being say a horizontal attack dealing like +24 damage and cannot be evaded and then the second attack dealing like +15 damage and knocks the guy down and this attack can't be blocked. Yeah yeah yeah, that combo sounds a little cheap but that's just an example.

Though it may be hard to do this (and it shouldn't be easy or this'll be undeniably powerful) but the effects pay off. Also I was thinking if you don't have another person join your combo attack, you'll only do the lead attack (making the second attack the more powerful part). So for that example up there, the first warrior would only do the +24 damage part but there'll be no knock down.

If you're confused on the process of how the combo goes, here's a small summary:
First person uses the combo (this person will do the lead attack). The second person has FIVE seconds to choose that same skill (that person will be the second attack). They both do their attack with devastating results. If the second person does not comply, the first person only does the lead attack.

Anyway, now I'm thinking that there should be some things so that lvl 5s can't really use it.... Let's say for our example those guys need at least 11 tactics or else it's a 50% chance. yeah.. that'll make it fair so if your attributes are unbalanced let's say 15 swordsmanship and 9 tactics, you can't use the tactics combo. I think that sounds fair.

Anyway I'm running out of time here since I'm moving to a new house and all and I'm packing. So I'll just make some combos off the top of my head.

Elementalist:
Lightning Rod:
20 energy, casting time 2 seconds, recharge time 30 seconds
First person sends out an ice rod. The second person charges the rod with lightning. This attack deals 80-107 damage. If the secondary attack is not executed, the ice rod only deals 40-58 damage. This attack has 25% armor penetration and this causes exhaustion. This has a 75% chance of failure with 10 or less air and water magic.

Magma Splash:
20 energy, casting time 2 seconds, recharge time 30 seconds
Lead attack send a boulder at target foe dealing 60-97 damage and the secondary bursts the rock into magma dealing 70-85 fire damage and sets the foe and foes adjacent on fire for 2-4 seconds. This has a 75% chance of failure with 10 or less earth and fire magic. This causes exhaustion.

Eh crap, I have to go now. You guys can put your own input into this.

I think it is interesting and provides a way for different classes to work together. For example, water and air elementalists, which A-net has been encouraging forever.

There are alot of triggers teammates can fullfill to lead up another attack, for yourself or someone else. For instance, an Elementist or Assassin can capitolize on a Knockdown Warriors attacks. Or a Necromancer can weaken a target to allow Stoning to Knockdown. Several Enchantment and Hex triggered skills, several condition triggered skills, several knockdown triggered skills.

I can see the relavence of adding MORE triggered skills, with more triggers, but the concept is already in the game, and making even more dependable triggers doesn't really improve much. For the record, 4 Obsidian Flames cast at once usually triggers death. Spiking on a target with several players at once is already a very effective tactic.
