What do people do with Mountain troll tusks?

I was told they sell them some ware for more money. I see people in droks all the time trying to buy them for 20gold. what are they doing? and if you can sell them some ware, where is it?

There's a collector for them somewhere. Whatever you can trade them in for must be worth more than the total value of the tusks you have to trade resulting in a marginal profit.

Collector gives an item worth 125 gold.
Buy 5 Tusks at 20 each and make a 25 gold profit.

Like said, Tusks are everywhere because of farmers getting them on Troll Runs, so people can easily buy Bulk of them. They buy for 15-20 ea. Takes 5 to get collectors weapons worth 125, or 25 ea.

With a clear inventory, you can get almost a stack worth of tusks in 1 run. You make alittle over 1k profit from each stack.
