I havent been reable to recreate this, And i have tried snakes pass 3 times now.

Before on low details i was able to see the area normally. However after a new graphic card was installed, I went in with max details. It was like i was in a snowstorm. Very realistic and i could barely see anything. I could only see a few steps ahead of me.

Is this normal for high detail or was it just luck ?

With max detail, you should be able to see all around you, so I dunno whether having 80% of the screen blocked out by white is luck, but whatever. This isn't supposed to happen, I think.

There are a couple of areas where snowstorms are in full force. One being the foggy area in Snakedance where all those azures are. It's normal.

I like it when it rains in that little corner in Ascalon City by the lake. Pretty cool.

They should improve weather effects so that they are tottally random each day (foggy, sunny, cloudy, rainy, or thundery kind of day) :]

I like it that some parts in Kryta ( i think ) will sometimes go dark(depending on your position) , as if time passed, then you come back and it gets sunny again. >__>

i bough a new PC with some crazy vid card and i log on and all i see is white and my character. i was like WTF

then my guildie told me to go to Graphics and set to "anti-aliased x4" and that fixed the problem once and for all

With my video card, if I try to use 2x AA, I get the snowstorm effect. 0 and 4x AA work fine.

if this only happens in the shiverpeaks then you're fine but if it happens everywhere do the anit-aliasing thing
