hello all, i don't rite much on he forums but i read allot here and thank you
for the information you post here.
i played monk,warrior,ranger,elemntal,necromncer,and now i play a Assassin.
one i started it was easy to get in to a PUG.
but one i get to harder the mission of the kurzick's and the loxun's the hate
started and no PUG wanted Assassin their basic because people say
we have low armor and we day to fast, and its not true.
Assassin is one of the best tank's(IL get to it later)same goose for dealing damage. so way people hate as? a good Assassin well only help.
you cant say we are all bad the chance you get a an experienced monk are a warrior
is the same chance you well get a bad Assassin.
after 20h i finished faction and get all the skill's i started to work on builds
and to see how can i help my team and show Assassin can be good in PvE.
so here is same of the builds I'm working on.

the first one is only to remove Foe's healing ability and redoes presser from the monks.

Aura of Displacement {E}
Golden Lotus Strike
Golden Phoenix Strike
Horns of the Ox
Falling Spider
Critical Eye
Viper's Defense
Flesh of My Flesh

Critical Strikes 13
Dagger Mastery 15
Shadow Arts 7

the next build is to tank yes for all the people started joking at this point
stop.

Flashing Blades {E}
Critical Eye
Critical Defenses
Death's Charge
Mirrored Stance
Shroud of Distress
Way of Perfection
Flesh of My Flesh

Critical Strikes 13
Dagger Mastery 15
Shadow Arts 7

i want to hear people opinion about the Pug's hate vs Assassin.
i very sorry for any miss taype English is my 4't language.

That "tank" build sucks magic damage or afflicted explosion will just destroy you if you want to tank go with the a/mo build posted using AP or make a more effecient one.

I will try to be polite but I see some flaw in your build (PvE wise).
The first build has skills that use too much energy and high recharge time. In PvE the fight is contineuous. aura of displacement take up energy from you, your attack skills will force you into rest after taking down the first 1~2 enemy Ox+ spider is extremely conditional which mean you can't sue it all the time. Criticle eye has very limmit effect when you face high level enemy. they might work in PvP but PvE is different

the second build will give you more hate and re-enforce the stereotype of bad Sin. dagger really don't deal much damage outside of skill. you defensive skill might work on melee but any caster can kill you with in a minute. critcle defence rely on criticle hit, facing lvl 28 will give you less of that so the skill won't stay up long.

PvE build focus on low conditional , less energy usage and continueous hit. re think a build if your skill don't fit these 3 critiria.

Use henchies. Then PUG won't matter.
Your strategy to go for monk first is good. That's what assasin are for anyway: to take out caster quick. And with double strikes and dual attacks, assassin makes good damage...just make sure the chain is unbroken or bug down by recharge time.

Always use 13 crit and critical eye, even lvl 28 boss will suffer your criticals. With the added energy bonus from critical you'll seldom run out of energy (even with +15/-5e dagger). Use way of perfection and critical strikes when you fighting afflicted for self healing. You can use flashing blades againts melee opponent, but don't take more than two enemies attacking you at once. Else you can "tank". Using "Watch Yourself" is also help.

I have lvl 20 warrior, necro, monk, ranger and assassin. I find playing assasin is very enjoyable. I never rely on PUG since it's more tiring and time wasting. In both prophecy and Faction, the only mission you need other people is when you fight Shiro.

Since henchies tend to bunch up around you, using skills like watch yourself can significantly boost your henchmen party's survival rate. With the daggers fast attack speed it can be kept up indefinately. Tanking as a A/W, is more efficient with the use of nightstalker's armor, sheild and sword. then you can use riposte and watch yourself, while still inflicting decent damage. So while attacking you'll have 95 armor with the nightstalkers bonus, then 115 with watch yourself, and then 126 armor with a sheild. Not too shabby eh? much better than the base 70 armor that most assasins run with.

I lolled.... And it wasn't because of the best tank comments, it was more of the "goose for dealing damage." XD

"I'm using Goose!"
