Price Check/Advice on Staff

So, I was helping out some people in Thirsty River a few moments ago and I picked this up.

Hale Accursed Staff of Shelter (req. 9 curses)
Energy +10
Dark Dmg: 11-22
Improves Casting Speed (10% chance)
Improves Skill Recharge (9% chance)
Health +19
Armor +5 (vs Physical)

Okay, so anyway it looks fairly good to me but I was wondering if I invested some money into a better hale head/Shelter mod would it be worth it?

Almost forgot...Around what would I be able to get for this?
